Still some quality play from Coco too, no doubt Osaka was definitely off her game and I have seen Osaka play like that before where things just turn to mush but all credit to Coco beating a two times Grand Slam singles winner.

Federer controlled the two points on Millman's serve to equalise the TB superbly. Brutal for Millman.

Fed was absolutely awful but who knows how he'll bounce back. 4+ hour clash this early on can't be great for a guy his age. Good on him for winning it though, really toughed it out.

I went to bed after the 2nd set as i had to start work early today and just really felt for Miillman after losing such a close second set, to be honest I thought Fed may have lifted and Millman may have collapsed after losing that 2nd set but no, I watched a bit more of the match this arvo, absolutely heartbreaking for Millman .

Because he is such a well liked and well respected player , he is a crowd favourite in Melbourne just about any time he walks onto the court no matter who he is playing.

Poor old Sam her team was up 4-1 in the third set and serving in the doubles but faltered and lost 5-7 in the third, was hoping to see her defend her doubles title
