Nostalgianauts and fans,
I have always been curious about player who have been playing a long time.

for me, noughtie was time I started playing and supporting NRL when I do working holiday visa in Eastern Australia.

I am always fascinating by the players who have been around longest time. Memories.

maybe there is others who are also curious about players who are still standing from the noughtie time. I am making a list. If I have missed anyone please tell to me and I will add. Methodology will be looking at most games and old squad lists and zero tackle player age.
I will include the age of player that they are turning this season and criteria must be first NRL game in noughtie and still here and I also say their current club.
I will also remember to do same thread next year. There will not be many left next year I think.

So, you're from the North and once a year you're making a list of players who are noughtie ?

I like to follow the longevity of players. I always keep notice of who is still playing from when I was living Australia on WHV in 2008/2009. This is when I start following sport so I develop curiosity on this matter. Am I only one?

I'm quite sure Chris Lawrence debuted in 2005. I remember he ran untouched down the sideline in a finals game vs Brisbane and the Tigers didn't make the finals in 2006.
