I wonder how many times Mary will trot out the line, “We made the Grand Final referring to his 9’s resume and self promoting to all and sundry how we have changed and the right decisions were made from last year.”
This may now replace the 85mins from a GF promotion or will it?

Was thinking maybe give young Ford a go at hooker?
He's a good defender, plays in close, has awareness and loads of potential.
Have the 9s women comp and a comp for bright young stars coming through. Play it in Melbourne at a ground with a retractable roof.

Maybe a new stadium at Kogarah with a retractable roof used by St George Sports Club - Rugby League, Union, Soccer might be vialble given the close proximity to the airport and Princess Highway of course with a bus and train station below ground.

It’s expensive to tunnel like that though..

Perhaps incorporate the train station as part of the roof? Part of the roof closing mechanism could include additional train track so that when the roof is closed the trains can still reach the station.

Alternatively we could really future proof the stadium by installing a hyperloop station. This would open up the ground to patrons from all over the east coast.

Wow ! That sounds great , totally unfeasible of course , but still I like the concept.
Perhaps we should get the NSW. Premier involved as she knows the true value of a dollar .

Just watched Strerlo's appraisal of our team's chances.
Was mentioned that Mc Innes might be a smoky for Rd 1 selection.
if that is true then what is that they know that we haven't been told?
If it is even remotely true, then he would certainly be looking good for maybe Rd 3 at worst and that makes the BB signing very curious indeed?
Anybody got any real news as to how close he might be?

Mary will rush back our top 17 (in his mind) as he has been given a benchmark to achieve.
Yep.

And it’s highly likely that McInnes will reinjure himself in the process.

What a clusterf**k. Mary shouldn’t be put in this position, as he will be making decisions based on short term results, not what’s good for the season.

But it’s his own lack of results in the past 6 years, coupled with the board’s cowardice in not making the tough call that have brought us to this.

I know it’s been said ad infinitum, but the sooner he is gone the better.

Kogarah oval being centre of the sporting universe that's highly likely. They could actually have cable cars from the top of centre point tower to the hill at Kogarah it would boost international tourism to Sydney tenfold. I will tell you Kogarah oval is a great ground but driving up from Canberra an absolute nightmare to park at.
