Yes, I think you're right. They recognise that choking can be a problem, so they need leaders to try to address it. But still very difficult in a team sport.
Choking implies the losing team was more responsible for the result than the winning team. It's a f**king dumb term. Teams lose because the other team played better, often because they had better leadership, usually because they had better players.

But having less quality or leadership in your team doesn't mean you choked. It just means you weren't good enough. There's nobody to blame for that. Give the winners their due.

What about when the other team plays better because your players played shit, because they're deadshit looser chockers!!!?

We'll agree to disagree, then. I think 'choking' - or making mistakes and losing confidence under a lot of pressure - is a very real thing.
