We are going alright. The thing I like is our blokes appear enthusiastic and look like they want to give this trial a big shake. The Dogs on the other hand I think it looks like it is going to be a long hard season for them if this is most of their top squad.

Half time 14-12 to the good guys

Positives from our team

Kennedy - He is looking good ball in hand, hasnt had to do much defence
Ferris - He has stepped up looks good
Tracey - He could be the backup hooker
Trindall - He needs start next week in trial with Johnson, dangerous every time with ball
Rudolf - plenty of go forward
Talaki - He is worthy to be in 30 man squad he has covered centre and backrow
Magoulias - Quality player

Negatives

Ronaldo - Injured
Hookers King/Paterson - Not confident with these guys, Tracey or Chad will need to be backup
Hunt - dumb mistakes
Katoa - He scares me with the ball, passes when not needed

Side note with trindall its a trial 2 minutes from half time we get scrum calling players to pack quick, thats smart

So after that half....

our spine looked sharp particularly Kennedy and Trindall. King was solid too.
Rudolph is a first grader. The 12 Talakai looked quite good.
Katoa went well
Sorensen looked decent too to be honest.
I really like the look of Kennedy. I hope he gets another shot this year.

Trindall, Tracey and Kennedy have looked good. Block plays with variation. Good, crisp passing. Trindall has a nice show and go.

Kennedy made a couple of try saving tackles.

Some ruck defence efforts have been very ordinary.

Overall, a solid effort against dogs top squad.

On Sorensen i agree but he always looks like this, i am one yes to give him another go, but when he steps on regular basis he struggles, he needs to play 5 yards wider, he has strength, speed and offload

Yeah.....he gives a bench mark of how the others are travelling though.
