A reminder that we all need to be careful about what we say about some chaps.

He’s going to look pretty silly if it turns out he really is a rapist.

Hmm is this offer based on the job done or potential? If the latter, it’s a hell of a gamble.

The risk is where the NRL salary cap is gonna go .... Fox is struggling. Can the tv rights be sustained?

Yeah they're assuming the cap will keep going up. But where pay TV money dries up there will be direct streaming to take its place.

Charges of domestic violence against Wests Tigers player Josh Reynolds have been dropped by police.

Media outlets are reporting NSW Police contacted Reynolds at 11.30am on Wednesday to inform him the charge has been thrown out, and his April 29 court date is cancelled.

It follows explosive accusations Reynolds was conned by an ex girlfriend, Arabella del Busso, who is said to have faked three pregnancies and miscarriages while they were together.

Reynolds was charged in December.

Police are now reportedly investigating the ex girlfriend.

There’s allegations she has conned several men before Reynolds, and lied about her mother dying.

Channel 9 reports NSW Police have now opened an investigation into del Busso and will interview Reynolds among several men.

Reynolds was cleared by the NRL under their no-fault stand-down policy and is available to play Round 1 .

Do the police just believe anything the chick says and then charge a bloke these days? They are now investigating the ex-girlfriend. Surely a complete investigation should take place before charges are laid.

Sometimes charges are laid because the cops think they have sufficient evidence to charge, however when the local area command or NSW DPP get the file charges may be dropped if they are not confident that it will achieve a conviction. It does not mean that it was a f**k up by the police or that there was no compelling evidence at the time.

Compelling evidence? Like her word?

They are now investigating her. Surely you investigate thoroughly before charging a bloke.

It's not an easy job being a cop especially when it comes to DV. I think you're out of line being angry at them.

Charging someone is a massive deal. You would think the police would look into all sides thoroughly before laying charges. They obviously didn't. Josh Reynold's has a right to be angry at them at the very least. I just lose faith in them.
