Hard to say. A communist country is hard to get information out of afterall

The WHO seem to be singing their praises for the most part.
Yes it’s a communist country and yes that does introduce doubt but if they aren’t getting a grip of it that’s going to soon become apparent when foreigners begging to return.

Link? I can't find anything about this!
Two members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) are in isolation after contracting COVID-19.

The ADF says the two officers travelled to a meeting at Defence Headquarters in Russell, ACT on February 28 — but the ACT chief health officer Kerryn Coleman says only one did.

"[The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee] has clarified with me that while there are two positive COVID-19 cases in the ADF, only one of those positive cases travelled to Canberra on that day," Dr Coleman said.

She said the man returned a positive test last night.

The male officer, aged in his 40s, travelled on the 6:45am flight QF1509 from Sydney to Canberra to attend a meeting at the Defence Headquarters in Russell.

He then travelled on flight VA651 from Canberra to Sydney at 2:35pm.

So you post an article that doesn't mention what you said and put your clarification of your error down the bottom where no one can see it! You don't work for the Telegraph do you?

The world thinks we are a laughing stock for the dunny paper hoarding, they must be losing their shit over Italy quarantining 16 million people.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-51787238

If only Italy read LU and could have found out this Covid19 thing is no big deal and really, not worse than influenza!
I for one am shocked that nations with poor infection control are having outbreaks. Meanwhile here in Australia we've had a grand total of 80 cases, and the three deaths that resulted from those 80 cases were all in elderly people with comorbidities.

Nobody's saying don't be prepared, nobody's saying it's not bad - but it's also not worth the hype and fearmongering that some corners of the media are putting out there.

2-3 weeks ago Italy had 20 cases. It now has 7000+

Italy is hardly a third world nation, they have a very advanced medical system.

Also it will get worse as it gets colder.

Of course we shouldn’t panic, but it’s very likely going to grow significantly. As I mentioned in a previous post, people should take precautions to help the elderly.

Their way of greeting each other by kissing would have seen a rapid rise in infection rates before they even knew what hit them.

The real shit show will be the USA , all those people without medical insurance and living pay check to pay check. Now that's going to be interesting.

If they have mild symptoms they’ll just keep working to pay rent and put food on the table. Pretty much the same will happen here too but at least Australians have socialised health care.

My relative is currently studying in France and they’ve been told to stop kissing people as a greeting.

According to today's Daily Telegraph as a precaution the Penrith Panthers are having hand sanitiser installed at common areas (e.g. bars, food service areas) within Panthers Stadium.

Now really? Hand sanitiser for Penrith fans?! Some of them don't even know what "soap" is :p ;)
