the Crichton charge seems very weak. Looked like an intentional shoulder to head of a defenceless player.

Brisbane should challenge this. From one angle it looked bad, but from the side on they could make a good case he gets him around chest length.

TPJ: It didn’t look to be a clear shoulder to the head but O’neill (was it) was concussed so the point of Pangai’s shoulder must’ve clipped him.

Or O'Neil suffered the concussion when his slammed the surface of the ground.

THat might work if you convince the judicary to completely ignore the angle that clearly shows he irons him out with a contact to the head. He's not getting off, and nor should he. Cheap shot from a guy who has form

Which angle is that? The reverse angle that doesn't clearly show where contact is initiated like the one above?

True. After all the replays I couldn’t say conclusively it was caused by Pangai’s shoulder.

The video Pete posted doesn’t prove anything. If anything it lends weight to the concussed by whiplash tbh. You can’t see any contact to O’Neill’s head in it.

I’m not a Broncos nor TPJ fan but he’s been charged on reputation tbh.

The one they showed on the tv, which resulted in the penalty and report
It was clear as day to me that he’d be charged and facing a decent suspension
But by all means, take on the judiciary and he can sit for 6

The reverse angle then.

The side on actually shows where contact was made.

I couldn't blame the referees for blowing a penalty. To the naked eye it appeared to at least be a penalty and the reverse angle looked bad, but the side on shows the collision more clearly.

Good to see Tapine not charged. Disgraceful to even penalise that from a ref who should be nowhere near first grade.

Guess it pays to be the boss’s brother.

Can't get away with that sort of contact to the head anymore.

A no brainer (pardon the pun).

Tevita can be a tough guy by legally hitting the ball carrier as hard as he likes but just not around the head.

He needs to rid his game of these types of acts - racing in and hitting bokes who have already been stopped, tackled or are on the ground.

Too much milk in his bowl atm.
