I'm working from home. Missus is on Mat leave to start working from next week. I end up working a little less but more thinking about work where I could leave it work earlier.

I'm working from home for the foreseeable future, my wife always works from home and now my daughter is doing home learning. We have quite a long office desk so we are all on the same bench and so far it is working great.

I already work long hours so that hasn't changed to be honest.

I am a little worried that the longer I am forced to stay inside the more chances there are that I will crack and give into temptation and start snacking. So far so good, I have been able to keep my usual routine of over 22kms a day of walking/running and weights 3 times a week (home gym).

I am medicated for anxiety so that is good in the current situation. I am no longer on blood pressure medication, I literally exercised it away.

Work is crazy with COVID-19 related preparation and also managing 16 staff all working from home and ensuring they're ok and they are looking after themselves and families and being as focused as possible.

I am in the middle of a The Flash re-watch and will probably watch all the Star Wars movies when that is done and then onto the Infinity Saga after that. I am a little OCD so I need to watch everything in order and can't just watch an out of order movie or episode.

I have spent a shit load of money the last week because I was holding out till June for a trip to Hawaii to buy clothes after losing over 55 kgs but now that is pretty much guaranteed to be cancelled I went shopping to get new clothes, shoes etc. I also purchased a Nespresso machine in case i can no longer get take away coffee as I need my 1 or 2 a day and can't stand instant coffee.

Hope you all stay safe and reach out to people if you need anything physically or mentally. Some really tough times ahead for so many people.

I have no need to socialise that much, just a walk in the park for daily exercise. I don't have to work these days so I consider myself a whole lot better off than those who are doing it tough. I try to involve myself as much as possible in cooking with the mrs. Mixed berry and chocolate muffins was this mornings effort.

I've just been directed to work from home. All hearings cancelled unless they must go ahead, and offices closed.

So mostly I'll be working. Cancelling hearings with f**kwits.

But I also bought 6 new (well, to me) PS4 games and have a whole bunch of movies and TV shows ready to go. Missus has Netflix, and she's now stuck in Canberra full time. My Kindle app is full and easy to fill up more. Bought some basic power bands and stuff to add to my dumbells so I can do exercise and I've had a stationary trainer for the bike for a while, although that's hard with the knee injury. Which, y'know, seems unlikely to be operated on in April as planned.

Also gonna get back into some writing. I've been sitting on 35k words on a half written story I started in uni. Might seem lame to most and I'm definitely not one of those blokes who says they're writing a novel because I know there's no way will it ever see print, but it makes the time pass and keeps the brain going. Good for lockdown.

Might finish teaching myself guitar, get better than a bro-strum

If anyone thought the NBN was shit beforehand, it's only going to get worse. They've cut back the speed (not that it was ever fast) in favour of reliability (not that it was ever reliable). Forsake depth in favour of backup.
My example: When we were in Sydney we were on cable at around 120 mbps. We moved to suburban Brisbane 2 years ago and the NBN was connected in my street a week before we moved in. In that time it's been decent enough for us (2 users) at around 46mbps. This afternoon, wifi quality has gone down the gurgler, though hard-wired is still OK. From what I've heard, they're cutting back on faster services so everyone can still access the NBN.

Well done. Inspirational.
Plan for Hawaii next season.

Absolutely, we'll be going when the opportunity presents itself again in the future.

That's awesome. You're doing more kms than some marathon programs.

In fact you probably have enough base to knock out a marathon on a random Sunday morning.

One walk/run of 25km on Sat. Next week 32km. Taper during the week. Sunday 42km.

There's your next goal. Your welcome ! ;)

I am up to running 8km at a time and to be honest while I don't hate it I am not interested running much longer than 10kms at a time and even then only for fitness/health. I am fit enough to run longer but I don't think my knees and body would like me much doing too much more. That first km is always a bit annoying until you warm up.

I've see it done before that's all and many times. Congratulations and I am glad you have Kornstar more for your wife and daughter and of course yourself.
But for me personally I am not inspired that easily.

I am certainly not trying to be an inspiration and I am certainly ridiculously embarrassed at how big I was. That is a personal feeling and I am not concerned about what anyone else looks like.

An important question, if you self isolate , can you do drive through Maccas coffee. Asking for a friend ( 9 days let)

Currently self isolating as we just flew back into the country on Sunday. Annoying the wife, I’d be surprised if she doesn’t kick me out before the two weeks is up.

Not being an arsehole, but I'm struggling to understand what you're saying here.
