The people who defend Millward when he performs poorly transferring the blame to Mary, now are singing Millward's praises for signing Suli or shuold they be consistant and appluad Mary for sealing the deal?
Possm, mate, please...
You say Millward isnt doing his job, he isnt recruiting anyone etc etc
Can you just give it a little rest mate and say he done well here?
If players dont sign, its Millwards fault, and if players do sign, you give him no credit.
Can you see how we see your posts?
We needed a centre with Lafai and Aitken off contract, we have secured Lomax long term, signed Williame, and now gotten Suli, can you honestly say Millward hasnt come good here?

Three clubs in that time - if signed 4 clubs in 4 years????

Not 100 per cent convinced .... one of my best mates played for the Bulldogs way back when and during the warm up laps used to jump the fence and have a cigarette at the railway end. (Belmore)

At least Moses was asleep in his mate's car.....

Good luck to the young bloke - being an old fart you can't explain how the good years quickly fly away...

2016[edit]
In 2016, Suli played for the Wests Tigers' NYC team.[4]

2017[edit]
In January, Suli re-signed with the Tigers on a 3-year contract until the end of 2020.[5] In round 1 of the 2017 NRL season, he made his NRL debut for the Tigers against the South Sydney Rabbitohs,[6][7] scoring a try.[8] The Daily Telegraph said, "Apart from owning wonderful speed, footwork and vision, Suli is also larger than your favourite reality TV star’s ego. Truly, this young bloke is the real deal. A genuine Next Big Thing."[9]

2018[edit]
On January 31, Suli was released by the Wests Tigers. It was reported that Suli would only attend training sessions for five minutes, and would sleep in a teammates car while the team was training.[10]'He was quickly signed by the Canterbury Bulldogs. However, 28 days later, his new contract was terminated by the Belmore-based club following repeated indiscretions.[11] It was revealed he had been given 2 warnings in his first 2 weeks at the club.[12]

Suli subsequently joined Manly-Warringah, making his debut in round 9. By round 14, he had been dropped again after misplacing his passport and missing training in New Zealand.[13]

2019[edit]
On 2 April, Suli was dropped from the Manly side for the club's Round 4 match against South Sydney for failing to meet the club's disciplinary standards.[14]

Suli made a total of 22 appearances for Manly and scored 6 tries as the club finished 6th on the table and qualified for the finals. Suli played in both finals games for the club and scored a try in each match as they were eliminated in the semi-final by South Sydney at ANZ Stadium.[15][16][17

2018 was a great year for Moses

I'm not going to argue with you. We lost players he could not retain and missed signing players he could not sign. On each of these occasions to blame was deflected to Mary. Mary is a useless coach but let's just lay blame wher it belongs.

It is good that Millward made up for his mistake of extending Aitken and Lafai long term rather then short term. But look at how many bad signings and how few good signings.

Just showing who is on the books for each position plus two we need to recruit Suli and D Fifita. We will most probably cut a couple and some are outside the 30 at the moment.

Re your 1st paragraph. 2nd sentence. Every club falls under that one
3rd & 4th sentence. You say and do exactly the same but blame a different person.
Last paragraph..agree. It takes time to fix a mess and if you count our young players that we have kept in the last 2-3 yrs the good outweigh the dud signings and the ones let go

Mate im not srguing with you. Apologies if it came across that way.
Im disagreeing with you.
Millward extended Lafai and Aitken because he was instructed to retain them.
The players "he couldnt sign" as you put it, the reason they didnt sign wasnt Millward.
Lol possm, mate, you dont sign at a club because of the recruitment guy.
Coach, location, future developement and success, they are reasons to sign or not sign.
The players he could not retain left why?
Widdop left because of Mary, same as Friz.
Bird left because he got a first grade gaurentee, at saints it was Mary that informed him he cant be gaurenteed a 1st grade spot immediately.
Garrick, Marsters, they left because Mary wouldnt give them a crack.
All had nothing to do with Millward.
Speaking to Millward he actually said he would have loved to retain them, but had no chance in succeeding because of those factors.
The fact Millward has managed to recruit those he has and retain those he has under these circumstances is a job well done.
Just calling a spade a spade.

And given the current scenario, I'd suggest, in the event this rumour is true, that we've either had to exceed Manly's current offer OR he's on the outer there (Suli gives me the impression he doesn't care which team he plays for).

In both cases, in possm's eyes Millward has:

a. Paid overs and mismanaged the cap OR
b. It was an easy signing.

Millward can't do anything right. There's no use disagreeing.
