Jason Croker? Didn't know that.. I would find a spot for Jarryd Anderson.

Well i dont remember but according to wiki he played 1 game. Might be wrong.

Not really surprising the coachs son got al his fg games with us and no one else.

I don’t believe it is the same Jason Croker from Canberra.

I wonder if we can get an “Almost Signed” team going?

I can kick it off with Paul Sironen who agreed to join Cronulla but bailed out at the last minute because he wanted to stay as a one club player.

We almost had Stacey Jones at the peak of his powers, he had agreed to join us, but the Warriors presented a final offer we couldn’t match.

It is also a fact that when Cronulla signed with Super League - Tallis, Mundine and Brown were meant to come across from St George.

Didn’t artie try to sign sailor when he was here before sailor debuted? Benji picked the dragons over us on his return even though we had Beau, Gibbs etc. Farah was in line to replace ennis but picked Souths. Apparently Mason was on his way to sign with us in 2002 before his mum called him and told him to stay a dog.

The mid 2000’s and early 2010’s had some pearlers. Andrew Emelio, Corey Hughes, Tim Weyman, John Williams, Andrew Lomu, Daniel Mortimer, T-Rex, Vince Mellars, Nathan Vagg, Dale Newtown, Broderick Wright, Trent Grubb, Luke McDougall, Jason Williams, Toshio Laiseni are some of my more memorable ones.

How do peeps not love that man?

Some things just escape me.

I love the guy, he loves the game like me and does far more.
I reckon sharks fans don’t rate him ( Ricky ) because when he got the job he got on the TV and said us fans can ask him anything ...
Then when us fans did question his coaching he he got the shots called the fans idiots or something.
That was when he lost me.
Arrogant little knob

Maybe
Ricky definitely had a crack at us too.
Definitely .
I’ve heard he is actually a good dude... he f**king needs to work on his public image though.
Agree on this with Ricky.
He has a heart but is the tin man really. I remember one Saturday night after a game going to “presos” - it was after a number of losses, supporters were peeved, pissed and cold. He started doing his deflection model of banter and a section of the supporters just started goating him, our group were escorted out for cheering on the banter as were several others.
Wasn’t the finest hour, but it was pretty much, sit down shuddup, support us or get out. The look on Rickys face was priceless.
