So instead of trying to be mature and diffuse the situation he launches a cowardly blindside attack, top bloke. But but I was upset and protecting my bro’s.
Throw the book and the tosser, and not the Fifita lets pretend it didn’t happen book.

I was told, unless the fight involves someone hitting your wife or kids, steer well and truly clear, and don't play hero for someone else's issues. You may well end up being the biggest loser.

You only have to look the wrong way, at some loon loaded with ice and you end up being decked and worse still dead.Ask a paramedic.

Yep. I tell my wife this all the time when she's having another bout of road rage: assume everyone's on ice.

Cody Walker cleared by police after fight investigation
Sarah Keoghan
May 20, 2020 — 5.22pm

Souths star Cody Walker has been cleared of wrongdoing by police after his involvement in a fight late last year in Casino.

Police launched an investigation into the fight after footage emerged on Monday of the shirtless Souths star kicking a man in the chest.

Walker was cleared but the two men primarily involved in the fight, aged 20 and 21, were fined $500 by police on Wednesday afternoon.

"Earlier this week, detectives from Richmond Police District commenced an investigation into an incident in Casino on 1 December 2019," a police statement said. "Following extensive inquiries, two men – aged 20 and 21 – were each issued a Criminal Infringement Notice (CIN) today (Wednesday 20, May 2020), for offensive behaviour. The investigation has concluded, and no further action will be taken."

Canard are you as outraged at the police sweeping an nrl issue under the carpet as you are when it’s the other code?

I don't recall commenting on the Police conduct at all in this thread.

I can't remember one article that was sympathetic to Cody since this was raised, and there has been far more press coverage of this in the Australian media than a stabbing of a player whom refused to co-operate with the Police.

In fact this is a great example of the disparate nature of the coverage.

its just an everyday thing in the communitys, no big deal
In particular, the handshake after it ends. They'll call each other out to settle historical family feuds, go flat out until one is beaten and often as not, the victor will help the vanquished to his feet with a big hug.
