Yeah, and I do wonder if
Ryan Webb
on his Day 44
thinks we need a good coach too
FFS?

Or is business as usual business well managed

- and there are no realities beyond the Boardroom Bubble eh?

So Andrew’s looking for the leaker & ain’t talking to Albert?

Poor head-down Benny doesn’t rate our prospects:

“Hunt admitted that if the Dragons were to meet the same fate as they did last year, he fears for his Origin jumper.

“I think it could harm a lot of people’s chances and myself," he said

"I think if coaches are smart, you will be taking into account that some blokes are a bit underdone if they’re not making finals.”

Those words are riddled with what’s called in the trade
‘self-fulfilling prophecy.’

AKA the Choker syndrome

And predictably,
Sportsbet have us bottom 4 again

....so yeah, it’s business as usual eh Ryan

& our new CEO’s just Andrew’s lapdog?

At least you won’t have to account for what would’ve probably been the worst attendance in Club history

a saving grace for the ‘down & out’

...but you’ll be flogging that dead horse
rather than merchandise.

Nothing like that coach-inspired confidence of your half as exhibited above

- sorta hangs around like a bad smell in the changeroom

debilitating

...like The Turd-That-Will-Not-Sink Turnstile’s carefully leaked political reappointment after his sensational non-form in Rd 1&2

which will get those backs cracking at Campbelltown this year (won’t that be an excuse).

Yeah right
6years déjà vu

That clear anticipation of failure embedded in Benny’s lament
lingers eh?

as nothing changes,
with the farce of Zac winged & juniors denied

You must sit at your desk & sigh WTF Andrew
let your mate go

Bennys lament

Bennys taking out insurance
For if the club team fails
That Kevin has his number
To get him out of jail.

So the spotlight shines on Benny
When the seasons all but gone
For when his fellow spooning dragons
Are Hailing Mary all alone.

A million bucks a season
To play like he’s the hub
But he’s out there in the media
White-anting the Club

His team they won’t be happy
That’s he’s predicting death
Not the greatest show of confidence
It’s not like theyre on meth.

I recall a certain Coach
Who when last season stilled
Took off on a junket
To swallow more red pills.

So thank you Ben
Too cool for school
Cry out “ remember me“
Why are you sculling champagne and fine red wine
While hosty’s sipping tea?

For what’s it worth, I’d ban all this self indulgent nonsense from players in the press until they are doing their bit and the team is winning.

Unfortunately it hasn't been officially mentioned:rolleyes:

Well
Ryan Webb
on your
Day 46

The unofficial sacking of McFail is already out there

...and these things develop a momentum of their own as the scramble begins.

And with the competition’s draw for the Dragons being the 2nd toughest:

upload_2020-5-22_7-12-19.jpeg
(Based on 2019 final ladder)

I’d imagine you’ll be announcing Bennett in July,

(now that The Board’s so stupidly & recklessly sabotaged a 7th Year in its Dance of Death with Conerunner)

...as your real “bedding down” of “coaching changes” begins

...and all that dirty linen thrown

Sleepless nights for you Waterboy:

“If the players did not want me here, I would not be here”

Yeah right
Ask Tyson

He’d’ve stayed if you’d’ve gone

& honoured your words

“Benny in July”

Down Redfern way the fine elite
Are benched or in some trouble
Giving loaded guns to friends to shoot
A Street fight, no jai arrow.

No place for bennett afterall
No extra season proffered
Richos gone and bolted off
To eat donuts with full coffers.

But bennett isn’t ready
To leave the game this way
He still wins more than he loses
And aging? kept at bay.

Marys dead elephant walking
He’s had his go and failed
His mates are slowly sliding off
Lest they be also be impaled.

Bennys bound for SGI and with him
All that’s good
Elite are at his beck and call
At his bbq they stood

So long Mary, fare thee well
The club now has the jack
They’ve finally realised, they have no choice
But to stab you in the back.

Mc Conerunner was always out of his league

...a duck out of water

never got his ducks in a row
never broke his duck

Like Daffy - always copping pellets up his arse

lame duck

No Paul, the only positive would be you getting the hell out of dodge.

That is all.

Ahh..hhaa..Fox is really giving him plenty of air lately and he is blowin a lot of hot stuff out.
You read that and think we are the only poor souls to have origin representation...yet another excuse article for Mary supporters and everything will turn around as now origin is at years end.
They forget to mention after saying how well we start seasons before rep time that the last time that happened was 2018. Another rock for Mary to cling to in his fight for survival given to him by FOX
But as the great McDud says..."OPINOF" ("our past is not our future")....

Mary pats Roosters and Melb on the back and say how well they do things and are innovative and that we have not done as well. Why not...or why cant you do the same?...is that not the next question!

We did have Luke Phillips on our books for a couple of weeks..late last year or late in the year before I cant remember..
so what happened there Mary?.did you not get the results and it was his fault we were still losing the penalty count..so he was flicked and deemed superfluous to our needs.

I read the article where Mez was saying that the dragons should get the benefit of a non state of origin year. Thanks for posting the link.

That the post origin sliding choke will finally be arrested.

By inference, once the players play origin, the club team is gone.

Its been suggested above that it is funny how the roosters etc don’t blame origin. If anything, in the wash, the origin period seems to actually add value to these well coached club sides.

Of course, this false-hope narrative is one Meh trots out every year only to watch it slowly and inevitably sink into the abyss.

Last year it was the “ side I always wanted” and we all know what happened.

He hasn’t learned anything in six seasons and obviously doesn’t mind or care about letting the people down. He raises expectations with bad arguments and the logic kicks in and shows him up.

Another classic “Fail Mary” moment as the spin doctors get more desperate.

Where the f**k is Management by Design? They need to tell him to shut up so as to stop the pain.

No one has any other expectation other than another bad season under McHoax.

There’s no direct relationship with origin and how poorly the side has been performing after the series.
The origin coaches don’t ruin these players, they help them.

Conerunner’s sure getting into the puff pieces as he deflects & spreads the bullshit on his road to nowhere

- implying he’s coached 9 players to Origin glory since 2015, when Merrin played interchange & went backwards, Korbin got to player No 20, but was counted, Tariq was fringe after coming from Knights, & JDB took 7 yrs to play Origins.
Vaughn was rookie of the year for the Raiders in 2013 & learnt his trade under Ricky & Country coaches. Dugan came ready made, as did Hunt & Norman & most of the others.

McFail’s imprint is on none of them

And all went backwards FFS

All excelled in Origin especially Tyson, but were inconsistent under Mc Fail

...who has very obviously taught them nothing.

Tyson’s certainly had enough of the crap

A Waterboy for mate Lozza & a ‘coach’ who’s impaired the careers of the
so-called 9.

None will ever get a premiership ring

Yet we get this carefully primed-for-the-Media bullshit:

“McGregor has previously been a State of Origin assistant and prides himself on producing representative footballers.”

Sounds like a job application that ignores the crucial stats that the best he’s managed in 7 years is 7th
(I repeat:
the 2nd worse record in 113yesrs of rugby league history)

& his current win ratio is 4/20

Why he’s ever put in front of a mic is anyone’s guess.

In a mindlessly low IQ address, he tacitly admits to :

- failure to innovate
- failure to match the Roosters or Storm’s preparation regime & skills
( merely says they’re “intelligent” & WE “do our best”)

- failure to be able to coach a team for a FULL season - when others CAN
(This is his most culpable & astounding admission as his self-defeating pre & post Origin stats so ironically prove)

- failure to adapt for injury by blooding juniors & backup to compensate
- failure to prepare a team for predictable rep duties
- failure to make contingency plans for JDB & to build on each season
- failure to rotate bench & selections to manage change, fatigue & burnout
- failure to offer renewal or anything but a self-defeating waffling on about “late season blues”

& blaming Origin when he & his players should celebrate & grow from it

What an unadulterated fuc/kwit

Yeh he has developed 9 players to rep honours...right o. That sounds about the right amount of hot air.
Tariq was an origin player before he got under the tutalage of Mc9..injuries and being at the Knights under early years of Brown sent him backwards for a while.
He only got there or 2nd choice selected last year due to other injuries.
2018 maybe on his own merit and form but only came in as sub.
How could he take credit for Norman...by the time origin came around he had only won 4 games at our club
Hunt gets picked at 9....for origin and Brisbane....plays No 7 at our club
Merrin was picked whilst under Price..not McMuppet
Has KSims played more than 160 mins of game at our club?...yeh we developed him
Frizz was always going to be an origin player..Mary has stagnated his game at club level
Ahh...dont you love it

Putting Mary’s Origin Fatigue Sydrome to the test.

The top 8 just before origin game 1, 2019:
( no order):

Storm, Roosters, Souths, Raiders, Eels, Manly Knights and Sharks (SGI = bottom 8)

v

How they finished- top 8 2019.

Storm, Roosters, Souths, Raiders, Eels, Manly Sharks, Donkeys ( SGI = bottom 8)

Therefore the only side with a statistical claim to Marys “Origin Fatigue syndrome” might be the Knights.

No doubt because the knights were massively over-represented in the Origin series.

I recall too that the Mary Special Counselling Unit, rested the lamenter ( Hunt) for the most important do or die game of the season after the series. What a coaching master stroke that was. Fooled everyone.

According to Mary, that was OFS too. He blamed the nines for injuries or was it pre-Origin Fatigue Syndrome?

Marys origin excuse is yet a deceitful sham, another bold face lie to keep the rank and file from rioting.

How you guys remain so passionate and loyal despite this flog in command is f**king amazing.

Stats Source: Wikipedia, 2019 nrl season. Backs up and verifies what posters have been saying here tonight.

Good post

Well Ryan Webb
On Day 47
in the hot seat

...only a week now before Andrew’s boy faces the stark realities beyond the spin.

Actually we’ve been wondering who’s writing his deflection speeches, as the grammar’s improved a touch.
Maybe Lozza’s (his new Media assistant/advisor) bin runnin’ the autocue & flashcards

Conerunner’s got those footprints all across the Media,

....but he needs to wipe the dogshite from his boots?

Great brainsnap though to get our very professional ( you know, like the Storm & Roosters) season cracking -

( the paddles on the back burner Ryan? Or are you in the process of marketing them to empty stadiums in the future?)

Lending players FMD:

“First of all, it's got to be in the best interest of our club, our team and the person," McGregor said. "If all them three arein a line in that order, I see no reason why it wouldn't be a good thing."

Well thems 3 criteria fit the lending of Aitken perfectly:

1. The Club divests itself of the backline destroyer & juniors’ roadblock
2. Our team can exploit the Warriors’ right side & score freely
3. And personally Turnstile would be free to improve beyond the clutches of his Loved One.

But if Blacker goes,

I say “lock it in Eddie”
& score a treble down the middle

What a farce
- our 19-20 yr olds get done over all the time

Spreading largesse is no substitute for focussing on a premiership McFail

...as the ‘intelligent’ Clubs (as you so lamely say)
so certainly do

- and as your laughable stats so ‘eloquently’ prove

Not happy Jan..about this... but great news for Eddie
Offer our best up and coming prop (yes I see him as that) basically indicating that you will be wasted here this year despite injuries or whatever could happen their will be no room to have a go in our 17.
Warriors see something in him and will give him time in 1st grade..and guess what Mary he might like it so much, the exposure, the confidence instilled in him...he might even like the coaching staff and blokes around him.
What are you going to say Mary..when he and his management put up his hand for a release from next year..Oh you cant go Eddie it was only a loan.! FMD...
If its exposure you want him to have..give it to him at the Dragons.
Why not loan them KSims, Host, Luke again or a stack of other fringe older forwards we have in our Top 50 Lovodua, hell even Merrin. There is a reason Warriors plucked him from basically JF / reserves last year and dont want anyone else. Do you have to be so accommodating to everyone so you mate Steve Kearney still has a beer with you and calls you a top bloke.
We now where this all might end now...hope you shine Eddie with the bros.
