You’re not the only one.
We didn’t play all that well the first two games. We are on top because we played the two worst teams in the comp. I’m hoping the team has sorted some of their attacking woes before Thursday night, although I’m not sure how after having such a massive break.

We defended brilliantly, though, in both those games.

We did, against two rather poor attacking teams. We did what we had to do to get the wins which is great, but we really do need to make a step up (mostly in attack) to beat the better teams. The Dogs are a pretty good defensive team and we found it very hard to score against them, and whilst we pounded the Titans in the end it did take a long time to get our groove together.

I agree, absolutely.

But I was pleased to see our attitude in defence was first class. Can't say we've had that for quite some time...

Remember, teams like the Titans are ones that we should beat, but have a less than favourable record against. On the other hand, we traditionally do better against some some fancied teams like the Broncos. For this game, like most others, the first 20 minutes will tell any well seasoned Eels supporter which team will most likely win.

The Parramatta Eels line up to face the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday 28 May has been updated by Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur, thanks to Taylor & Scott Lawyers!

With 24 hours to go until the clash, Arthur has reduced his squad to 19 players with Jaeman Salmon and David Gower dropping off the extended bench.

Eels centre Waqa Blake will play his 100th NRL game.

Kick off is at 7:50pm.

Broncos first game was woeful, they only won purely because the cowboys couldn't hold onto the ball. Outside of Taumalolo are they much better than the dogs?

Yes.
And you can’t discount Taumololo. The Dogs don’t have anyone close to his quality on their roster.
