Just watched Penrith-Newcastle - what a game, what drama...

How good is the NRL, and how good is having sport to watch again???

Huge effort by Newcastle, some real good signs for them in the months ahead. Penrith not so much... looks like the Warriors are coming up against them at a good time.

Manly are going to be very very hard to beat this year. Tommy Turbo is unbelievable. New rule + combination with DCE & Jake make him the most dangerous player in the competition. Love watching them play.

Yay. We have only lost to the second and third placed teams.

Must admit it’s the first time for many a year I’m watching with optimism, strike all over the park and most bases covered. Would be even more dangerous if Fainu was available but the late Levi pickup has been a masterstroke. Almost play a bit of old Warriors footy too where the structure is very loose and offloads are the key to it

There is no bigger example of the genius of Hasler than Brad Parker, 2 years ago he was close to the worst player in the competition now he is above average in the centres

Whats the latest on Fainu? Had his day in court yet?

Pretty sure his court date got pushed back due to all the Covid stuff and the state he is on at the moment as well

Had a shoulder reco at the end of last year and has had some pretty major setbacks with it getting infected, similar to what happened to Sam Burgess so he would have been out for the season regardless
