Unpopular opinion here, They should bring MNF back, It's a much better timeslot than Friday 6pm games by a mile. Hardly anyone can make it to those types of games on a regular 9-5 job where as MNF is accustomed to almost everyone.

You acknowledge that it's unpopular yet you want them to bring it back?

Guarantee it will be 3pm Saturdays - loss of another day game. Fox love the 6pm game as it keeps viewers on their broadcast for the ch9 game.

Bring it back and the broadcasters will stick their claws in to keep it.

Monday night footy was great for watching on TV. I wouldn’t go to a game on Monday night in winter , but absolutely LOVED watching a game on Monday .
I hate Thursday night and the early fri night game

How about Canterbury Cup 'match of the round', Monday night, Qld Cup ISP Tuesday night. Why not give some exposure to the state leagues.

There’s is no reason why Canterbury Cup or the ISP in Qld can have a game on Mon-Wednesday. Only needs to be one game each a week, not the whole round.
In NZ, the semi-amateur rugby competition is played mid week.
If nothing else, it gets a prime time slot and sponsors get exposure.

monday nights games hold the record for tv viewers , ratings , of games , last time i checked . compare monday to thursday viewers its a no brainer

- Sun 10:30am NSW U20s

With times like
- Sun 7:30am being QLD Cup replay
