Unbelievable.

He (Smith) essentially stopped the game and refused to play until he was awarded a penalty. Was one of the clearest and most obvious displays of his influence over the refs.

Would Cameron Smith have walked into the Warriors dressing room post-match and given the Warriors a "talk" if the Storm got smashed 50-6 or he himself had a shocker of a match? No way!

That was the last thing the Warriors needed after that result, let alone the way Smith conducted himself during the match, such as milking penalties. One of the biggest turn-offs in the game over the past decade or so is the inconsistency in refereeing decisions regarding on-field infringements involving certain players as well as decisions made at the judiciary (we all know who these players are, especially when it comes to State of Origin).

Smith came across as a complete smartarse doing what he did last night, rubbing salt into the wounds and conveying this whole "Look how good we are! We're much better than you!" smug attitude.
