Anthony Siebold is more concerned about vaccinating NRL players than Broncos performances

Spot on. JT has said it put a chip on his shoulder. Cam wasn't quite as blunt but admitted beating Brisbane in Brisbane is always a highlight.

Can’t blame the broncos entirely. They did win a premiership against them with future NRL legends Karmichael hunt, Shaun Berrigan, and Casey Maguire. Even had Michael Ennis on the books! :joy:

Just heard Darren Lockyer use the word "adversity" multiple times on Sunday Footy show in relation to the broncos and their current situation.

Let's not go full re-tard here. Milford was never anywhere near the calibre of player that Teddy or TT are. They play with 100% intensity every game, whilst Milf was a highlights player. He did some flashy stuff but wouldn't do remotely the same amount of work they do.

A tad over the top, I'll admit. If his career went up at the same rate instead of down, who knows? He had so much time.

The only thing saving Siebold is his big, fat contract. The Broncos next three games are against the Warriors, Dogs and Tigers. IF (that is a big "if) they lose all three with a similar type performance that they put out against GC, I think they will bite a very expensive bullet and pay him out. They will look for any excuse to keep him for financial reasons but if they continue to play like they have been, sacking Siebold may well be the cheaper of a very expensive alternative (sponsorship, crowds, retainiing talent etc).

This quote says it all. It’s about the man, not the team

He was asked about his future. And he’s right about the 5-yr deal. That’s the carrot the Broncos dangled to get him to transfer from Souths. That’ll be on Paul White and his haste to get rid of Bennett. And Wayne isn’t blameless in all this either.

With the regards to being the right bloke? Who knows. Donkeys will give him as much chance as they can, otherwise it’ll be one of the most expensive mistakes in NRL history

You’re right about the expensive part. If they sack the coach they’ll probably have to sack White as well. That’s a couple of large payouts right there.

couple this with the cap on football club spending and they may only be able to afford to pay one of us to coach the Broncos for the next few years.

That cap is specifically designed to stop clubs from signing coaches to big money long term deals like this.

5eibold is laughing all the way to the bank.

I’d love to see the Broncos sack him and refuse to pay him out. NRL fans would unanimously back Broncos for one time.

I can only see 5eibs then want to fight. With a fistful of spreadsheets. At the aquarium.
