We're also short a left edge second rower ATM

Let the controversy begin
^^^ just on that.

My perception is that Moyza slightly favours the left. He's making Wade redundant in some ways. Wade needs to switch to lock.
Nothing controversial about that, Wado is a prototype of the new lock and is being wasted just hanging on the left.
Let the fella roam.
He has all the skill set, and more than most. Plus it may revitalise his playing as he is starting to look a little tired and stale.
He was once touted as the number 13 replacement for Gallen. In fact Gal used to tease him about not getting his hands on that jumper just yet.
It's time.

The amount of times Moyza stops before going to Graham and goes back the other way does my head in.

Moyza outside Graham doesn't give him enough time with ball in hand as we saw his first few games back. It is good to see Moyza fit and firing though.

Biggest problem with Teig is not playing any football. Think that’s also y we are playing 4 bench forwards to keep them game fit for injuries, we can’t bring Hunt in rd15 and expect first grade fitness.

Some comps are starting on the 18th aren't they. I think it's just local A grade stuff but interested to see if clubs sends players down there to get some form of match fitness in.

Enter Teig Wilton. He's been signed long term and he's specialist left edge so it's matter of when not if.

Graham lock
Teig left
Nikora Right

Williams takes Hunt spot on the bench.

Bench of Rudolf, Fifita, Talakai and Williams.

Though not sure if we'll see it this year.

Would be happy to see my man Teig in there.

Bomber is still playing our lock's role as a replacement Gal... Williams and Talakai/Rudolph (can't quite tell how that rotation has been working, but looks like Rudolph plays 13 when Talakai comes on) used as metre eaters.

I think Wadeo in the '90s lock mould (the Fittler, Langmack, ageing Jason Smith haha) sounds more exciting than it is...Johnson and Moylan are constantly looking for runners and they're not quite there yet, adding Wade in as a roaming ball player when we still haven't learned to hit holes is a recipe for even more inside balls. The Ramien try on the weekend running of Moylan in broken play was almost a f**ken disaster if he didn't get the hint and hit that gap.

(I guess this was mentioned up-thread with Graham and Moylan cluttering the left side... Graham maybe needs to evolve to hit holes and pop balls to Duges)

We're getting there, but I'd stick with the structures and style we're only just beginning to get used to and develop before throwing more spanners in the works.

That's actually a pretty sensible post, way too sensible for here, with some valid points. Still I am going to try and counteract it.
Every year every NRL team tries to copy what the best team is doing, in this case, The Roosters. They have had their lock forward, Radley, playing as a second 5/8. Not in all plays but as a difference to the norm. Manly do it with Jake T and South's do it with Murray. I'm sure others are trying to do it but may be they just dont have the cattle, we do in Wade.
I agree it may be too hard for them at this point but having the opposition not knowing who is the creator, in our case we have Moyza, then SJ, hopefully soon we have young Brails doing it more, plus a sometimes Chad, and I mean very little sometimes. Add Wado into that in the future and we definitely have the capability to run riot, especially with the 3/4's we have.
Of course none of this works until we get our defence right, which is way more of a problem then our attack.
Cheers.

I am really happy with Blayke, he is engaging the markers, and it does not matter who is halfback, he knows when to hit Moyza, short kicking is on song, want more 40/20, perhaps wait for the finals.....

I would like to see him put Will away straight up the middle lazy markers, that is more on Will not to be lazy, push up Will every play.

I’m enjoying his frequency increase of having a run but I think on each one he needs to decide why he has done it. He has missed some chances to make the break himself. Go son.

Be interesting to see if he has a crack against Panthers and he needs to as well as general play kicking this will take pressure of the halves.
