Is Jack Hetherington’s loan to the Warriors until the end of the season?
I thought that is what is said at the bottom of the TV screen while I was watching NRL 360 last night?
It's a 4 week loan.

You seriously dont believe anything that comes out of NRL 360 do you even if its at the bottom of the screen,I believed it was too, but as I say the messages at the bottom of screen during last nights NRL 360 said season long loan.
Obviously regardless how long it is there will be a ‘recall’ clause if we get hit with injuries to our forward stocks.
I apologise I thought is was a short term thing and then i saw the little caption flashing accross the bottom of the screen. Maybe I was seeing things.
Even that seems a little high.Far be it from to me to know his market value but a two year deal on say 500K would probably be beneficial to both parties?
What happens if he gets injured and is off for more than the time he is with the Warriors? It's a 4 week loan.

What I mean is will there be any compensation towards our club if he gets injured and is not available for an extended period.Don't know the official process but I assume they'd need another loan from somewhere.

I doubt it. Seems like a risk/reward situation with no reserve grade at the moment.
They can take Kaide Ellis to on loan .
The point is that Hetherington is well in the frame for us - but he just needs some match fitness. Ellis is so far out of favour with Cleary that there is no point keeping him match fit.

I read something recently that the Storm have shown some interest in Ellis for next season? He is a good player and would be a handy pickup for a club requiring some back up. Has never quite got an extended run with us which is a shame because I think he more than useful. I’m sure he will get picked up by someone.

How did Hethrington go?
He was an eager beaver in tackling everything and always in position to take the ball up. A very sound debut indeed. He went well, some nice offloads the commentators were praising him for adding something when he came on.
