St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor has finalised his 17 ahead of the Dragons' Round 9 clash against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, Kogarah on Sunday, July 12.

The Dragons are 1-17. Tariq Sims (wrist) is a confirmed starter and is joined by Jordan Pereira (suspension) as the new faces in the 17. Tyrell Fuimaono reverts to the bench.

Tristan Sailor and Tim Lafai are the final two players to be omitted, alongside Korbin Sims and Jason Saab from the initial 21-man squad named on Tuesday.

Ben Hunt has been named to start at hooker otherwise, with skipper Cameron McInnes named at lock and Trent Merrin moving back to the interchange.

Norman’s absolute last chance for me ... Personally would have played Sailor but let’s hope he goes well ... wanna hear the song boys

We can’t play sailor & Clune as a halves pairing.. Both too inexperienced
For 2020 a season in which it is highly doubtful we will feature in the semis I actually see it a the perfect opportunity to pair Sailor and Clune up and give them time... Norman’s done barely anything..

For today however I hope he has a blinder.
