I've just watched the game, curtesy of the NRL video. Talk about a clinical performance, against our typical boggy side? I just loved it. The Panthers totally outplayed a far more experienced side. I hope Charlie Staines is given more game time this year.

Got me beaten how Sharon Woods wasn't cited for his head high tackles. I saw 3 in the game, only one of which he was penailsed for. Why are the NRL allowing free shots on Panthers players?

The bloke is always pushing the rules and niggling. Hitting blokes high, lying in the ruck pretending to be tangled. He is a short cut specialist, always looking for an easy way out rather than just muscling up and hitting hard and getting back for the next play.

Our combinations in the backline are starting to come together. Not as smooth as the rabbits a couple of years ago but very encouraging

Does anybody know any of the trainers at the club? Is Staines the fastest over 40m and 100m? He actually looks Wesser quick.
.

He had a few disruptions over the pre season and never really hit consistent top speed. Edwards was recorded the quickest over 100 metres. But I would back Staines as the quickest at the club.

In the pre season Jed Cartwright was clocked at quickest over 40 metres. He hits top speed really quick before he fads a bit.

Keep an eye on Ativalu Lisati. For a forward he is quick. Doesn't drop off over a long distance either.

I was looking forward to watching him. Sadly no 2nd tier footy

Is Ativalu Lisati a Panthers player?
