Says the guy whose team travels once a month at most. Ha!

Well they just travelled to QLD in bacl to bacl weekends.

Are you thinking we should play some home games interstate?

Or perhaps you believe the raiders should have away games in Canberra?

Oh the adversity! Those 7 day turnarounds must be killing you.

Did the NRL force you to take the bus to Qld? Genuine question.

I'm not whinging about it.

Just pointing out that you are wrong.

Do you not only travel once a month? Or did you just cherry pick a convenient 2 week period to argue against a bloke whose team played 7 from the first 8 rounds away.

Classic Roosters. "Oh we had to play TWO whle away games. The adversity!"

I just used the last 2 weeks. Sorry if that doesn't fit your narrative.

And again, I'm not whinging about it.

The raiders have played 3 of their 5 home games at GIO despite the COVID situation. Stop sooking and enjoy your victory.

Gus Gould made a great point in commentary with Josh Hodgson there the Raiders relied too much on him and maybe became too predictable. Tonight without him being there it forced some of the other Raiders to put there hand up and chip in for the team. It also helped their two back up hookers Siliva Havili and Tom Starling had good games.

Gus Gould has spotted what Raiders fans have been saying for years;

That when on, Hodgo can be a genius;

But he doesn't allow room in his style for a half to do their thang & run the show- hence Sezer's confusion & Wighton can flourish as just a running half;

If you search "Hodgo overplaying his hand" you'll find it every year he's been here, alongside frustration that we could not buy a creative half anyway, so this was our best shot;

with all the strike out wide + Hodgo genius las year, that was our method. This year Sticky decided to bring in a creatuve half & reduce the rocks/diamonds out wide (Leilua as the key man);

still up in the air as to if it works, but the happy side effect has been that we actually have two really good halves who just need early & often ball from our "good but not great" hookers to do their thang. In the past Hodgo trod on their toes playing his own stuff too;

so losing Hodgo sux but we are actually well placed to absorb it this year vs other years.

He had some absolute stinkers in the GB jersey last year and clogged up their attack heaps. Agree with the observation that it either works really well or is terrible

Stop saying “thang”. You’re not American and you’re 20 years too late.

Wighton might be my favourite 'genuine' 5/8 since Lockyer.

Lockyer was probably a steadier ship than wacko Jacko, but yeah he's fun. Reminds me of Daley- just a pure ball of energy & intent and can do literally any skill in the game.
