It was round 25 in Nth QLD.

Even without those 2 the cowboys wouldn't be getting a 35 point start.

EDIT

Just had a look at the teams. Thurston and Scott played.

No way cowboys got any start let alone 35.

Maybe Cronulla got a 35 start?
Derp by me, I read it as round 14 2014 for some reason.

I remember in the AFL when the Melbourne Demons were paying 13-1 and upset the Essendon Bombers. This might have been in about 2012 or 2013 lol

So Warriors are $10 or $11 say 10/1.
Roosters $1.04 or thereabouts 1/25.
(Not to mention anything regarding a draw)
There’s only one winner here as per usual and that’s the Betting agencies.
Who in their right mind would bet on the Warriors on those percentages?
Each to their own.

Gee there's a lot of shit teams this year.

Only interest in most games is how many over 40 one of the top 4 get.

2014 we played the Roosters at Leichhardt, not sure what the start was but
1. We had a terrible record vs the Roosters. Not only had we not beaten them in about 8 games, we had been trashed in most of the games we lost
2. We had about 10 first team starters out including Tedesco
3. The cowboys had beaten us by 60 the previous week, Farah’s infamous bolt to a car at Campbelltown was 2 weeks prior
4. The Roosters were defending premiers and nailed on for top 4
5. The players had clearly chucked it in and were ensuring Potter wouldn’t be renewed

not sure what the odds were but I’d imagine the Tigers would have been close to double figures, and would’ve had over 20 on the line. From memory the Roosters won by about 40.

The Sharks with a similar performance that saw them concede 56 points the week before beat the warriors by 36...

If Roosters don't win by 60 they have taken it easy on the Warriors.

Yeah but is anyone even gonna bet on roosters at that price?

Tigers were 9 wins from 20. Roosters were 12 from 20. Tigers had a quite serviceable side. Lawrence, Austin, Moses, Brooks, Woods Farah, Blair, Galloway, Sironen, Taupau. Tigers were at home. Would have been under $3. Suspect Warriors fans would be delighted to be able to field some of the aforenamed players.

No they are losers too because no-one will bet on either side. You could put $100k on the Roosters to win $4k I suppose.

Warriors / Broncos double paying $70. Surely the longest odds for any two combined games in NRL history.

would rather roosters 1-12 @ $5.00 if you thought Warriors might be a challenge.
But tigers paying $3.15 is pretty decent considering how well they played last week. team effort was incredible to watch. haven't seen them play that way in a long time.

we won 5/7 at the start of the season, meaning we only had 4 wins since then. Roosters dropped some games during the Origin period but were on a nice streak heading into this one (would go on to win the minor premiership). It was painfully obvious that we had chucked it in that season. Potter had been told he wasn’t sticking around and knives were out for Farah.

This time was almost as depressing for a Tigers fans as Hopoate and co were on 2001.

Tigers were $4.30 for the win and only had a 12point start.
Roosters have really given the tigers some thumping's around this period.

Round 23, 2013 Roosters beat them 14-56. Tigers had 24.5 point start

Surely the 1999 Wests Magpies must have been at those odds in the final rounds of their existence when they were getting regularly pumped by 40 to 50 points.

Ridiculous round for an accumulator.

Warriors @ 10, Broncos @ 8, Dogs @ 5.50, Titans @ 6.50, Tigers @ 3.30. Other 3 respectable, Souths @ 2.60, Dragons @ 2.05, and NQ @ 2.20.

Back all the outsiders and your dollar returns just short of 111 grand. It is a fair assessment of the chances!
