They kept Staines quiet. Burton is in the training pictures next to MWZ so there is hope. Also Laurie is from the North Coast so could get family up there much quieter than with Staines

Staines debut leaked, I think someone even posted it here a day or two before the game.

My money is on Penrith being named 1-17.

I reckon Staines will come in next week on the Wing.

Unfortunately I can’t see Ivan picking Burton unless there is an injury. Hopefully I’m wrong.
Not sure about Staines being straight back in. But agree with everything else.

Isn't Staines supposed to be injured and out longer than his isolation period? Or was he cleared of injury?

He looked pretty fit in the article in the paper mid week

Oh damn!! Laurie still there.

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has reduced his squad to face Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday.

Pat Hollis has been omitted while, in another blow to the club's injury-depleted playing roster, Viliame Kikau has been withdrawn after suffering a minor calf injury at training.

Billy Burns has been promoted to the starting side and Matt Burton to the bench as the Panthers prepare to field the competition's least experienced line-up, with only 968 combined NRL games between the 17 players.

Kikau joins Dylan Edwards (hamstring), Api Koroisau (elbow), Dean Whare (thigh), Brian To'o (ankle), Kurt Capewell (knee), Zane Tetevano (back) and Jed Cartwright (shoulder) on the sidelines.

The Panthers will wear the pink 2020 Alternate Jersey.

Laurie still being in the 19 gives me hope.
It'll be good to see how burns goes in his natural position too.
