He killed the attack with every touch. Including a dummy half run off an intercept with no defenders around. It takes a special kind of shit to bomb a try in that situation and he manages to do so.

Bombing tries is the worst error you can make short of throwing intercept s that lead to them. We're just lucky we didnt didnt need a good fullback to win tonight.

We belted a team. Yet he had 0 linebreaks etc. It says it all really

Yeh Aekins was terrible not making an error, taking every bomb & saving tries on our line. So shit. Ffs give it a rest & stop looking for every reason to shit on a player, a replacement player at that.

Aekins was rock solid defensively tonight. Some really good tackles on our line early.

Some people will never be happy. We just scored 42 points, and it's still not enough? Cmon.

Great team effort. Loved it.

Yep. But more importantly theres space wide and every touch he got he holfs the ball and dances around. Killing momentum and shutting down our attack.

He doesnt need to bust the line himself. Just keep pace with the team and spread the ball. Especially against a line with no defenders in it. His play off Nadens intercept cost us a try. All we had to do was spread it. But he just takes tackles.

We scored 42 points. He didn't contribute to a single try scoring play. Its pretty easy to look solid in a team running riot and all people can say is he didn't make mistakes?

Thats a pretty f**king low standard. And thats that if you consider poor decision making as not being a mistake. He cost us points.

That was a near perfect game and I'd say Staines going off hurt the defensive cohesion a little. Cleary was epic.

Aekins sucks though. Love his safety under bombs but just kills basic attack and May had to go to fullback in attack on one play to fix it.

Our forwards just keep turning up every week, no matter who is selected. Jimmy tamou and JFH get us on the front foot early and the likes of Zane, Moses and Spenser just continue it. I know we keep saying Isaah is underrated, but I believe Liam Martin is as well. Always bends the line and looks for the offload. Great player, and to think we still have Kurt to come back somewhere and Kiks hasn't been as influential as we thought we'd need him to be. Its a great position to be in, this far into the season.

Almost perfect game. But Aekins has killed momentum in an absolute carve up everytime he has touched it. Rather dance on the spot then pass the ball.

Not sure how we put in such a great score with a handbrake in our spine. Api being back made such a huge change. Our halves have more space and time with him.
Probably something to do with his safe mindset. Cleary will I'm sure make him understand the point of throwing the ball wide after a gain like that. Or he is a dumb merkin. One of the two.

He did his job. You buy a Toyota you can't expect an Audi.

Did Mansour contribute to any of our points? Tamou? Fisher-Harris? Martin? Kikau? Leniu? Tetevano? Leota?

Almost half the team had no involvement in a try scoring play. Feel free to dog pile them too.
