Wasn't long ago and people wanted Enari punted. He has been good for us every week he has played. Holds his own for a smaller framed bloke.

Mostly idiots on the Knights Facebook page. He became the preferred target after Mann started turning in decent performances at 5/8. I didn’t see a lot of it here.

Gives his all and fights for every inch, still only 21 and under 30 games experience. He'll have a good career.

Enari going better on the wing than centre for mine. Seems so safe under the high ball and great reads usually on the wing as well.

Shibs to replace Moga?

We are still in the top 8 and play the Tigers, Eagles, Cowboys, Warriors, Sharks, Roosters, Dragons and Titans, and you want to blood some young blokes rather than try and win some games?

Righto...

congratulations, we played the bulldogs last week, we weren’t in this game after the 30th minute, the scoreline is extremely flattering.

But by all means lets persist with a bloke who has continued to be pathetic in attack and two dumbass rugby style chips for piss poor result on the attacking 15m line.

He is absolutely toast, we will not win any games that require scoring more than 20 points, which just won’t fly against the top teams.

So your solution is sending young blokes before their time out to slaughter And miss the 8 definitely.

We have had 15 years of that shit. Why do Knights fans so badly want the team to self sabotage? Is it a comfort thing? We don’t deserve success?

Phoenix can develop next to Pearce, Pearce gets the support he deserves. It’s much better than burning both Tex and Phoenix because they aren’t ready. Notice Tex wasn’t in the 17 today because he’s been pretty underwhelming since his heroics against the Panthers?

I didnt get to watch the game only listened to it on Triple M feed. How did Crossland look ? Anything to suggest he might be a gun? or at least a good NRL player?

My opinion usually counts for very little but:

For a small bloke showed a lot of guts.
Not phased at all by the occasion.
Enthusiastic in everything he did.
Did what was asked of him but could see he wanted more ball.

Basically, did nothing wrong and definitely deserves more game time.

The reason Tex wasn't there is because he isn't a utility by any stretch, he is a fullback with a limited passing game that can kick.

Crossland on the other hand is a Halfback with a passing and kicking game, at this rate we are going to miss the 8, we can't score more than 20 points without the opposition making stupid mistakes to help us along.

He was perfectly fine yesterday, showed more energy and will to make something happen than the rest of our halves have for the last month, Mann puts in the hard yards but he isn't a playmaker, he gets his job done with 150% effort.

So we either drop mann to 14 and put Phoenix in the 6, or we persist with what we have and have another holiday at the end of September.

So, we have a half who has never really kicked but we expect him to kick, and then get angry when he can’t kick and then we plonk a utility next to him who also has no real kicking game and wonder why we score no points.

Crossland is a half who can kick. Put him at 6, Mann to 9. Makes sense.

Anything to get him in, he debuted last year, he handled it fine, so he is ready to step up, Mann to 9 is alright his service is a bit shoddy but his effort will at least be there, maybe having crossland next to pearce will wake him up, not as much as dropping him would, but willing to try anything to wake him up.

Also if Pearce is re signed then we are clearly a clueless club, as he is way past his best and should only see this contract out and nothing more.

I think we started to see the limit of Mann's talent yesterday.
He's been doing what he's been asked to well, but trying too hard to make stuff happen led to plenty of errors, and he wasn't at his best defensively either.
