What a damn shame the Dragons do not have the financial clout to go on the occasional spending spree as do the Warriors and other clubs when they so wish .
Hey Gareth67 you do wonder what the dragons would do with a benefactor like Uncle Nick. Ohh they get WIN Corp instead a rundown piece rubbish that is slow and pedestrian. Like it’s CEO, jeez one can only dream of.....

Ever so right sco22 , ever so right bud . One thing that is certain , we would not be sitting at the bottom of the competition ladder , but up among the title contenders . As you say - we can only dream .

Gareth67 you are so right should I say we all are so right about the dragons You could see the roster we could have and a real coach just blows your mind

In what had been a most unusual year of NRL with suspended comps, lock downs, loan players between clubs etc the NRL confined today that they were aware of the pending Mc Gregor sacking some 6 weeks ago.

With that knowledge they have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that Mc Gregor is remembered for what he has done for the club and as such changed the interchange rules for his last game allowing StGI to run with an extended bench as well as have players from other clubs participate.

As a result our team will include the following players Rein, Mc Crone, Latimore, Mc Donald, Maranta, Pearson, Graham, Nicholls, Lafai

Dispensation has also been given to the Eels who have included Garrick, Sele, Leilua, Bird, Robson, Timms in their side and they are still waiting to hear if Frizzell, Lomax, Dufty, Host, Sailor, and Vaughan’s requests for a 1 game swap to the Eels will be allowed.

I’ve heard a few rumours over the last couple of days - interesting to hear ur opinions/belief if these rumours are true

- Euan Aitken will not be re-signed in 2021
- Both Korbin and Tariq Sims are pushing to leave the club at the end of the year
- Tristan Sailor has told club officials he has no desire to stay at the club in 2021 despite them offering him a 2 yr deal
- Jason Saab will be leaving the club to join the Wests Tigers
- Corey Norman looks like he may be dropped not only for this week but potentially for the remainder of the year
- BIG RUMOURS - ( Don’t know if completely true )
- Cam McInnes and Paul Vaughan potentially looking at leaving sooner rather than later

The club is in a shambles

So what's these big rumours

Rumour around that Tohu Harris may, I repeat, may want out of the Warriors.

I would sign him in an instant.

It emerged at Newcastle that Brown can be a polarising coach and lost at least some of the dressing room up there. Wouldn't be surprised to hear that not everyone wants to be coached by him.

Hate to disagree Gaz but we've had enough departures (Graham/ Lafai/Luke) or announced departures at the end of the year (Frizzell) to free up funds to chase players- the real problem is that the Board, until yesterday anyway, couldn't see that the massive roadblock to this club being competitive in recruiting worthwhile players such as Corey H-N, Elliott, Fifita etc was the presence of Egghead in this ridiculous coaching and selection committee the Board has set up to effectively neuter him.

Sorry about the late reply sco22 , but with all the excitement today I have only just read your post mate .
It would now appear that as you have said with a real coach the Dragons could have a decent roster , we shall need to wait and see just how far the JV board are prepared to go now that the maestro has departed.

Hopefully they get the correct man for the role and he in turn can bring in some real talent .
