So he'll be legit 50% for his career (including finals) if we beat the Dragons next week. Will we choke? I can't wait to find out.
Lets hope mary and his selection committee flip flop normy back into the team so we get an advantage

Interestingly Paul green also started coaching in 2014, won a GF, made a GF against the odds, and had a better win percentage than BA, and has since been sacked.

Yet BA, by the time his tenure here is finished, will end up being the longest serving coach at one club without a GF victory, in the history of NRL. It could even be the longest stint in the game without a premiership since the competition began.

Paul green also had a salary cap scandal swept under the carpet

We also had a salary cap scandal. A lot of similarities.
Except Green didn't have to lose any players and re-start the rebuild of his squad.

In 2017 we had to play:
Josh Hoffman
Suaia Matagi
Frank Pritchard
Siosaia Vave
Kirisome Auva'a
Will Smith
Nathan Davis
Cameron King

Only NBrown and Moses were worth any value of all the players we bought into the club in 2017.

I guess the point is theirs got swept under the carpet ... While ours ripped the club up ... Ours was useful long term but quite a setback

How long are we going to keep mentioning the cap rorts? There shouldn’t be anymore excuses

I do find it hard to believe that BA will be our longest serving coach.
He has had to endure some absolute shithouse situations. Probably should've been shown the door at the end of 2018 if we are fair dinkum.
Lots of emotion when parra loses particularly when most expect us to win.
Unless he wins us a comp or has made us a consistent top 4 team by the time his contract is up he should not be extended.
Hopefully the players and coaching staff can remedy the performances of the last 5 or so weeks and come out ready to take the Storm on.
Storm love ambushing us. Not sure if they circle the game against us in the calendar or put a laughing emoji there but seem to just penetrate us in more ways than one.
Coaching staff can happily read the 583 or so pages of what they need to fix for the upcoming game and the rest of the season..they have the rest of the weekend free.
Hoping we see game plans to beat the opposition instead of run hard, tackle hard.
Saints executed their game plan really well last night

Excuses for what? Every team is a chance of losing every game. Plenty of good coaches never won a premiership and a few shit ones have won comps. It take a fair bit of luck, but structural advantages also help.

I always do. And I'm hearing we've saved up a bunch of them.
No...to nullify the opposition. Expose their weaknesses.
Things like kick early, keep the ball in play or kick into touch regularly, more dummy half running as they dont control the ruck well....whatever it may be.
What the saints did to us last night might not be a bad tactic at all against the storm...kick long and early sometimes to turn their monster pack around.

For the shit we continually dish up. We’re no better than when BA took over in 14. We’ll win a few and lose a few but mainly inconsistent b
We lost 12 games in 2014 and 19 games the year before. This year we have lost 3 games, after losing 10 last year (plus a finals match). The year before that we lost 18 games. We are definitely improving. But you can't expect to improve indefinitely. The salary cap ensures that. Eventually you'll have to do worse than you did the year before (like us in 2018). Hopefully you can move past it quickly, like we did last year.
