I see your point Muzby
But would you choose Young over Fitzgibbon if that was the 2 choices ?
I know what most people would choose
But they aren’t the two choices. They’re both rookies, therefore both the same risk.

Just out of interest what’s your coaching preference
Bellamy.

Bellamy.

Not the same risk at all
Fitzgibbon
Assistant for years under one best coaches and won premierships in a great setup
Responsible defence and chooks have clearly one of the best, he knows what hes doing there at least
Associated SOO setup
Yes untried as head coach
would probably bring some good youngsters from chooks or elsewhere

Young
Assistant to a peanut
Responsible for our appalling defence last year
Possibly responsible for our appalling attack earlier this year
Associated with one of the worst coaching and admin setups in NRL, and no experience with anything better
will not attract good players

Yes both assistants but not the same

Now seriously I will rephrase the question

Who would you prefer to be our coach next year and going forward out of what is possibly available ie Not Bellamy ?
Yes we would all love Bellamy to come but he wont ever be coming

How many good Storm juniors did Kearny take to the Warriors?

How many good Raiders juniors did Pay take to the bulldogs?

Bennett.

Or Robinson.

OK

agree to disagree

so really your vote is Bennett

Fair enough, out of the experienced coaches that may be available thats my pick too so we can agree on that one

But if I have to have a rookie that rookie would be Fitzgibbon

What? Please don’t put lies into my mouth.

My choice is Bellamy as the best coach we should try to get.

Reading between the lines with Gus' latest words of wisdom it appears the "review" was actually constructed by the board and presented to Gould to sign off on. Like others here my opinion of Gould is diminishing by the day. I feel sorry for the Warriors.

Robinson apparantly going to France and Fitzgibbon to Roosters' head coach.
Cam Smith to retire and take up head coach position in 2022.
Griffin is available.
Wane is available but won't last long on the open market.
I tip Bennett to be available if Saints want him. Craig Young would be the fly in the ointment.
I'd rather Young get an assistant's job at another club or try his luck in the ESL. I am absolutely sure it will continue to be the same-as, same-s and we don't need to waste any more seansons find this to be3 the case.

I heard that there was nothing ever written and so also nothing signed off on

I was told Mary asked him to come to help him out

He was there maybe 1 day
Spoke to Mary , BJ and a couple of so called senior players
Probable Mary sympathathisers and went home

End of review
Mary needs a bit of help
Must be peripheral coaches and staff problems so sack them as Cant be Marys fault

Nothing more to see here

Certainly interesting if true
If Robbo goes Fitzgibbon would be crazy to knock that back

Or
I’d rather come to a cash strapped disorganised joke of a club like Saints?

I read on The ROar
That Young and Flanno don’t get on

Has anyone else heard that?

I don’t get on with some people I work with.

But we suck it up and get the job done because we’re professionals.

It’s not like we have to have a beer with each other.

Yes I agree Muzby
Same with me

But the optimal situation in any workplace is when people get on I think , albeit in a big Organization that’s not possible

Even in a small organisation you can not get on with someone but still work with them to get the job done.

Particularly when you’re holding leadership positions as Young & Flanagan do.

I think it's the opposite - that's why I posted the video earlier in the thread - Gypsy and Jerry accuse them of having a bromance and Young says he's learning heaps off Flanno and that Flanno has come round to his house out of hours to help fix his plumbing!
