I wonder if the Broncos were going better if the ratings would be even bigger....

400k cumulative for Raiders vs Broncos on the weekend although maybe lots of people are tuning in to watch the train wreck lol...

I think the numbers are down stories are often from Fairfax journo's who are funny enough working for a company owned by Nein. Instead of complaining wouldn't it be better to revamp their tired and sad coverage of Rugby League?

Yes but that would involve Nein spending money, something those tightwads never seem to want to do. They seem to forget the old adage of spending money to make money.

Everyone loves a winner! Interesting to see that Kayo/Goxted go etc numbers are around the 100-125k range for games.

Viewer numbers released by Foxtel on Wednesday have shown the Raiders to be the most-watched NRL club over the past four rounds.

Despite their annual snub from free-to-air broadcaster Channel Nine, Canberra has featured in three of the top four most viewed matches on Foxtel since round 11, with Saturday night's win over the Brisbane Broncos attracting 400,000 fans.

Of those 278,000 were watching from their televisions, while a further 122,000 watched the match via Foxtel Now, Foxtel Go or Kayo.
The Panthers-Raiders game a week earlier attracted 396,000 viewers while the round 11 clash with the Rabbitohs generated 413,000 virtual spectators.

So it seems viewership is really strong every bit ch9. We as a code are seriously being held
back by the shitty coverage/treatment of the game by ch9. Sucks that we’re stuck with them now for so long.

Going by the rating figures Wookie keeps we were slightly up after the first 17 rounds on 2019, but the last 2 weeks haven't been good. So our ratings will probably be down slightly for the year.
