Or trade him to Melbourne for the Foxx
Why wouldnt the storm take roberts he is fast he is a rep player, fox has 1 year left on his contract,so they take roberts for a year,if it dosent work get someone else

I'd like you to be right, but I just don't think it's likely.
Injury issues, mental health issues, defensive issues, his history of performances at other clubs doesn't forbode promisingly. I really hope for Jimmy's sake that he does get a start at a great franchise like them but a swap for JAC? I just think it's long odds. Happy to be proved wrong.

Flanno has signed with the Dogs - just announced on Fox.

It's a real scumbag thing to demand get-out clauses every single year from the club that raised you, and then sign with the absolute arch enemy without those same demands. Obviously this azzzhole learnt nothing wearing the Red & Green, and it means nothing to him.

Fox are saying Remis-Smith - JAC swap is likely. Really?
JAC would agree to that?
We can't come up with a better deal?

What an absolute joke! As far as I'm concerned, Suaalii can get f**ked! The way he's mucked us around is disgraceful, like a spoiled little brat. We're a club that has tried to give him everything but that's not goog enough for him. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Joseph, you'll fit tright in at that scum of a club.

Here's the full article from the Daily Telegraph,

Roosters ask Rabbitohs to release Joseph Suaalii

The Sydney Roosters have opened communications with arch rivals the South Sydney Rabbitohs to release boom teenager Joseph Suaalii from the final year of his contract.

The 17-year-old schoolboy superstar has rejected a $2 million contract extension at the Rabbitohs and wants to sign a long-term deal at the Roosters.

He has been in talks with Roosters coach Trent Robinson and the club’s head of recruitment Daniel Anderson for several weeks.

Anderson rang Rabbitohs chief executive Blake Solly on Monday morning to discuss the possibility of Suaalii coming straight to the Roosters.

The Rabbitohs remain noncommittal.

They have not been approached by Suaalii’s family or advisers for a release.

Whatever happens, the Roosters will have to pay a development fee to the Rabbitohs, 25 per cent of the first year of his NRL contract. It is expected to be more than $50,000.

The Roosters can’t sign Suaalii until November but he can’t play first grade until he is 18, unless the NRL relaxes its rules.

Suaalii has knocked back the Wests Tigers to play for the Roosters.

Im beginning to think these clauses and demands were a ruse, it was said right at the beginning a car with rorters plates was seen outside his house, this was an orchestrated planned move, weve been behind from the start, dont be surprised if money and cars have already changed hands well before the signing, these mercenary tactics have a politis fingerprint.
When the broncos were signing Haas this didnt happen, he can go to the rorters he has a flawed character we dont want.
Hopefully he will stuff up their sombrero, chrighton will soon learn his lesson,he has been under fire from the start and we now read he will need to take a salary cut to stay,no loyalty, suffer!!

Suaalii is no champion, yet to mix it in the big league. His flaws are already showing. Give me a Cameron Murray any day! A spoilt teen like a deer in headlights. He can go to east. In fact, piss off you spell drama a team does not want. Easts can have you , however, it will piss a lot of players off who now will have to have a pay cut.!

NRL biosecurity expert says protocols can be scaled back ‘almost fully’: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...g/news-story/94484e89f91503e91e024b58c2db484b

Up to $40m of talent will be up for grabs next week. Here’s where they could land: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...r/news-story/bf6ba29117a2d4c796c25ea16b4674ed

From Zero Tackle,

NRL loses out to AFL in TV ratings

The NRL Grand Final between the Storm and Panthers attracted big ratings, with 2.967 million viewers tuning in to watch the match on Sunday night.

The match, which kicked off at 7.30pm, got 2.103 million watchers in metro markets, well up on the 1.866 million who tuned in for last year’s game.

However, the game was still well short of it’s biggest rival, the AFL Grand Final.

The match, which was for the first time held at night, attracted a whopping 3.812 million viewers.

This was the biggest audience for an AFL Grand Final since 2016.

Many predict that this came off the back of Victorians being at home, with no one being able to gather at parties and pubs.

SEN presenter Gerard Whateley called the gap in figures a drubbing.

“3.8 million versus 2.9 million in round figures. That is a walloping,” he told SEN’s Whateley.

“That is a proper walloping in the AFL’s favour.”

Welp. Looks like Smith, Bellamy and Co will have to win the next 5 grand finals to get back the ratings

From Sporting News,

RLPA announce 'Players Dream Team' following 2020 NRL Season

While the Dally M's took place last week prior to the grand final, perhaps a more telling sign of a player's individual season is the RLPA Players' Champion and Dream Team.

Jack Wighton took out the top gong last week over Clint Gutherson and Nathan Cleary - but in the RLPA side, there wasn't room for the Canberra star.

Cleary was awarded the Players' Champion award on grand final night, before his side went down 26-20 to the Storm.

In the RLPA team of the year, Luke Keary was named in the halves alongisde Cleary, while a lot of the other positions picked themselves.

Two surprise selections were Brian Kelly in the centres and Cameron McInnes at lock.

While both had good years, neither of their sides made the finals and in McInnes' case, he spent plenty of the season at his preferred position of hooker.

The full RLPA Dream Team for 2020 can be seen below.
  1. James Tedesco
  2. David Nofoaluma
  3. Kotoni Staggs
  4. Brian Kelly
  5. Brett Morris
  6. Luke Keary
  7. Nathan Cleary
  8. Josh Papalii
  9. Cameron Smith
  10. Sio Siua Taukeiaho
  11. Viliame Kikau
  12. Tohu Harris
  13. Cameron McInnes
The other differences from the Dally M 13-man side were Sio Siua Taukeiaho over James Fisher-Harris, Brett Morris over Josh Addo-Carr and Brian Kelly over Stephen Crichton.

McInnes was picked over grand finalist Isaah Yeo at lock.

This is a joke.
Old man Morris picked over the NRL's top try scorer?

I'm used to the fact that wearing the Red&Green puts you against most of the rest. We will never be liked, by outsiders, so I say f### 'em, who cares? You kicked us out of the league.

And I hope Keary gets his block knocked off once and for all in the SOO, how he is the best 5/8 is a complete joke

Sadly, it's starting to look more and more likely that we won't get Addo-Carr.
Don't count us out yet, remember last year the stupid media saying Latrell to Tigers was a done deal?

Ultimately it's two things that will stop it happening:
1. Is there any player, excluding Latrell, AJ, Cody, Adam, Campbell, Cameron, Cookie, Jaydn and Keaon that Melbourne are willing to take as a swap?
2. Is Bennett killing any deal (well known he won't pay big money for a winger)?

Keary is the best No 6 without a doubt. Complete and utter madness for Souths to let him go to the Roosters while giving Adam Reynolds a rich 5 year deal. If Keary never goes to the Roosters they maybe hold on to Pearce and don't win a comp in the last few years while Souths win another one if they kept Keary

WRONG.

Keary is a bigmouth who thought he could tell the boss who he can or cannot 're-sign, namely our GF hero, and tried to destabilise the team because he didn't get his way.

We don't want or need azzholes like this f###ing up our team.

Keary was here (and Sam wasn't for 2015) for 2015 and 2016 - what was our record in those seasons?
A: we sank like a stone in a pond - thanks to Keary

Also, you've discounted how much Latrell did for the Rorters, how did they go without him?

Stop rewriting history

Keary has won 2 premierships since he left us.
How many has South’s won?
