Kieran Foran says his love for Des Hasler and the chance to reunite with good mate Daly Cherry-Evans were the two reasons that excited him about returning home to Manly.

The Sea Eagles on Monday confirmed Foran would return to the northern beaches in 2021 with an option in the club's favour for 2022.

On the one hand, I'm happy he gets to finish at Manly, and also that this probably annoys Choc a little bit.

On the other hand

Maybe he would go better than the slow cramping plonker that goes missing
Like for like. Aekins doesn't cramp though, just naturally slow. Also doesn't really show up in attack to be able to go missing. Very safe though, the definition of starch.

If Stick can teach him a bit of ball play or get him at least some kind of a threat in attack he could be a good pick up. he seems pretty durable and is certainly willing. I hope he goes well.

Still young so there’s plenty of time for him to develop. Looked very average for the roosters though in a loaded side where most of the attention is on keary and teddy.

He’s going to cop plenty of hits playing for the dogs

Not sold about the signing, hard to be enthused by a half the roosters deemed not capable of doing the job required after only 12 months
But this is the sort of roll of the dice in a key position the bulldogs need to take. There is no chance he’s worse than Lewis, and maybe he finds his groove there

nice work by the dogs assuming the money is sound
