Munster overrated

How did Munster get MOM
In game 3
No doubt he is a good player
He is a dangerous runner of the ball
Can pass and kick
Not so much in the creative department and lacks vision for a 5/8
He is more of an opportunistic 5/8
He will see space or a player out of position and attack
But back to SOO 3
Even his stats were below Harry Grants stats ( Look it up If u didn’t watch the game)
And Grant had more of an impact creating breaks on his own and busting NSW open
But all the media and commentary is about Munster
He made 2 plays a strip and of course the 3 kick regather and try assist which almost bombed because kick wasn’t that good
Beside that game was ordinary
Didn’t create anything for outside backs
Kicking was ordinary and didn’t break line with his running game and he tried many times in the NSW 20 m zone

And it seems QLDers or just maybe you can’t read just vent
If you don’t know when addressing a post you usually respond to the topic at hand not start your own
Here’s a tip don’t comment if you have nothing worthwhile to discuss
Go spread ur hate elsewhere

And if Grant don’t play
Does QLD still win on the back of Muster?

Why not take this further, so Grant doesn't play, Cameron Smith comes out of retirement but only for a 5min cameo, Munster goes down early with an injury after 20mins, Moses Mbye is playing fullback but Greg Inglis back from UK slots in at centre for Lee. Now for the real kicker, Munster comes back on the second half all needled up ready to play, QLD are down by 12 points, does QLD win?

Most will say yes obviously so let's spice things up a bit, Cherry Evans isn't playing as he got injured 2 days before the game so Ben Hunt slots in at half back, Qld have managed to claw there way back into the contest and the scores are locked up at full time sending it to golden point, NSW's have just kicked of and the ball is floating towards Hunt, Munster is sprinting across to try intercept the ball, do QLD win ?

No the Blues win because Qld obviously have way too many players on the field at one time for that scenario to be reasonable ;)

It probably was more a reflection on the fact that Munster has amassed a track record which consolidates his danger to opposition teams whether SOO or otherwise. Grant has yet to complete a full year in First Grade or play in more than one game of SOO. That to me would be one of the compelling reasons why Grant justifiably was passed over for the honour.
