We won't have SJ, and could be running out halves of Chad/Trindall/Tracey. And who knows who might be out with trials and the off season just started.

So losing Rd 1 isn't the end of the world. Like it wasn't when we didn't win Rd 1 when we won the comp in 2016, we also didn't win it in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

It would be good to beat the Merge Rd 1 though that's for sure.

It seems you guys already preparing for round 1 loss, a few teams have new halves combos for round 1 as well.
Roosters must be ready for a loss they could have a unknown kid at halfback.

The drags there halves could have Hunt and Norman to players you don't want in anyteam if Bomber has them ready we would win.
Tolman on debut charging the ball most tackle breaks of the game,and him a d Woods delivering some massive hits in defence
Chad with a 40/20, then his ability to kick that ball trapping them in goal.
Bombers team ready to go against the Drags who are also rans last few years.
