'It's just irrelevant,' the woman said.

'No, means f**king no.'
If she's worried about sounding stupid, throwing slogans around in court will do it. No does mean "f**king no" but the case hinges on whether she actually did say no, and not just wished she said it after the fact. Since whether or not she said no to the defendant is not a verifiable fact, all this other evidence is in fact relevant for deciding whether or not it's likely she said no.

The case in a nutshell.

Rocks up and goes straight upstairs, wants to sing Ed Sherrin, cabbie knocks on the door after 20 minutes, he talks to the cabbie, meanwhile mum pops her head in to see whats up, chick says he only wants sex and she said no, mum says no also, Hayne walks back in, cheers on Roosters, heads upstairs to which he allegedly rips the pants off against her wishes, goes to lunch, bites hard, cleans up and gets out of there.

That first 20 mins will be interesting to hear what was happening, that's a whole lot of Ed Sherrin.

Some women are attracted to that. I know women who say I just want a nice guy. But just hit repeat and go for the same aggressive type. I don't think they can change what they are attracted to. They'd most likely get bored or think there is something wrong with a nice guy who treats her well.
Some people are raised to think respect is a one way street, so if someone respects you that means they are subordinate and not entitled to your respect.

I had forgotten that Hayne got shot at.

I had also forgotten that he heroically saved that English girl from drowning. Remember she gave a telegraph interview calling him her hero. He should get her out for a reference.
.
He is an enigma.

What's with all the biting? Didn't he allegedly bite the American on her genitals? And I'm sure he was accused of biting some chick on the face outside Roxy Parramatta back when he first came into first grade.

Didn't he bite Guru Jnr on the arm when he got excited in '09 and Jnr reacted with, 'wtf is with these young fellas?'

PARRAMATTA have fined winger Jarryd Hayne $1000 for biting a young woman on the arm at a nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Hayne, other Eels players and members of the club's cheerleading squad were invited guests at The Roxy in Parramatta on Saturday night, along with Hooters waitresses who were advertising the opening of a restaurant next month.

The woman rang Ray Hadley at radio station 2GB yesterday morning to complain that a player had made unwelcome advances. Identified as "Lisa" [not her real name], she said the player had gone too far.

She said he had stroked her hair, "then I thought he was putting his head down on the back of the chair, but he actually bit me instead".

Asked where she had been bitten, the woman replied: "On the side of my arm, my upper arm."

The woman, who said she was at the nightclub with her boyfriend and other friends to celebrate her 18th birthday, said the bite didn't hurt or leave a mark but that she objected to the player's familiarity.

She made a complaint to the nightclub's management and said that while she was happy with the way bouncers had treated her, she was upset by the management's concern that if the player was forced to leave, the other players would leave with him. "I'm more angry with the fact footballers think they can just get away with it," the woman said.

Parramatta issued a media release yesterday afternoon. It said Hayne had unreservedly apologised to the woman and that she had accepted the apology. "My actions were childish and unacceptable and I understand and accept the penalty I have received," Hayne said in the statement.

Eels chief executive Denis Fitzgerald said the club felt it appropriate to impose a fine.

It is the third off-field incident involving Eels players recently. Tim Smith and Mark Riddell were fined and dropped for drinking before training, and captain Nathan Cayless was reprimanded for damaging a security camera at Star City casino.

The Eels will hold a meeting with players today in a bid to put a stop to alcohol-related incidents at the club.
