Geez that took a while, that bid has been out for over 3 months now, not sure that its possible to refute the name, its not an exact copy, and its 2 different codes, its like Manly stopping Sunshine Coast Falcons from bidding for an expansion spot... or Brisbane Lions stopping A-legs Brisbane Roar, coz its lion based.. seriously,
The Brisbane Roar were originally called the Brisbane Lions. When Fitzroy merged with the Bears the fumblers had to pay them out to change their name so that they could become the Lions.

The Trademark for ‘Brisbane Firehawks’ has been opposed by the Queensland Firebirds (Netball team).

Bid team might need to come up with a new mascot.
Brisbane Raptors?

I made this about 6 months ago, but it wasn't a snake, moreso for a lizard
Blue-tongue skinks are very common in SEQ.

Brisbane Blue-Tongues could be a hit. The club could sell a blue dyed lolly to fans ro make their tongues blue. If they teamed up with a local lolly maker they could sell them at Coles, Woolies and Drakes under the Brisbane Blue-Tongues brand. Kids would love it. There's money and free advertising right there.

Yeah but then you gonna have another blue NRL team, maybe best to go Orange & Brown, with a trim of blue (for the tongue)

Hold on, isn't Gold Coast in SEQ?

Problem solved
You won't find too many people from Brisbane and Logan supporting a team from the Gold Coast. Beenleigh and other suburbs from the former Shire of Albert would support the Titans, but only because they were absorbed into the City of Gold Coast in 1995, and remained there until they were placed under the Logan City Council during the amalgamation of councils in 2008

Beenleigh was the centre of the Shire of Albert, which also included the suburbs of Eagleby, Alberton, Mt Warren Park, Windaroo, Edens Landing, Holmview, Pimpama, and Jacobs Well. In 1995, Albert Shire was dissolved and Beenleigh and the surrounding suburbs were then amalgamated into City of Gold Coast. In 2008, these suburbs were transferred from Gold Coast City to City of Logan (despite protests from locals, who voted against being part of Logan)..

I think if the titans start winning games consistently, you'll find all of SEQ will start suppoting them
