Field goals worth 2 points from outside of 40 metres, Eric Simms would have loved this.

Handover if player does not make genuine attempt to play the ball correctly, I love this rule it finally cracks down on the lazy players in the game

6 again for inside the 10 metres another plus will speed up game, will suit us

They are the main ones, none of those rules hurt us, with field goals might see Chad land couple of these on stroke of half time.

The rule I would have enjoyed 5 minute sin bin for people who flop in on tackle

I'm interested as to how these changes will benefit us?

Woods will be even worse than what he currently is.

The 1 I like is if a trainer calls for play to stop the player must leave the field for either 2 min game time or interchanged.
Will stop players and trainers stopping play for no reason.

4th down 30m out, throw it back 10, take the FG.

Worth half a touchdown, the America way.

Perhaps one point for convertions that just miss.

Tries are very over rated, kick tha ball.

Mitch Healy would like the field goal rule change. I remember him kicking a beaut long range one at North Sydney Oval on a Monday night in 1996 which got us a draw.

The 1st player we have if gets pinged for wrong play the ball should be sent straight to Jets to ensure he gets it right.

Ya reckon our defence will cope with a quicker game?
It should Bomber was talking it up he has bought in Tony Grimaldi in bombers words a premiership winning player who will benefit us in defence.
Bomber did well to land him straight from the Dogs

Whole new skillset.
The long range field goaler.
Start perfecting it down the park you young'uns.

40 out - kick it. 2 nil.
Receive from the kick off. Get it to 40 out. Kick another. 4 nil.
Repeat.
And again.
For the whole game.
Win 50 nil.

Ratings through da roof.

Next they should add 2 more players to each side.

I think they need to adjust goal posts so they are like NFL posts
A try should be a touchdown
And as long as the ball breaks the pane of the goalline it's a try
These rule changes are a joke, each year there changed you have some current coaches who sit on that committee if that's not a conflict of interest what is.
Leave the rules as they are for 5 years, but each year they change them

I prefer the NFL to NRL anyway

C'mon we have got to start throwing the hankies. Footy isn't footy unless there are some vicious hanky throwdowns.

A team being inside the 10 results in a "6 again" call.

Unless its a 'repeated infringement' and then the ref can award a penalty.

Say you're 1 point in front. There are 3 minutes to go and you're defending. Your teams offside so ref calls 6 again.
No issue - you back your defence to hold them out.
How many times can he call 6 again before its a 'repeated infringement' penalty?
Because once he does they take the 2 and go 1 in front.
Game over.

Is a 'repeated infringement' penalty at a refs discretion or is there an official number of 6 again calls before a penalty is awarded.

Because lm thinking if we are the team in front by 1 point do we get the same amount of 6 again calls before a penalty is awarded as the rorters might.
