Is there any real intel in regards to Mansour actually signing with us or is it just some rumour we have all jumped on?
Ive seen bits and pieces , enough to show we are definitely interested...not sure the priority compared with Smith (storm) or others..but yea may just blow over?

Mansour will not be a tiger, we don’t need him. I’m hopping we get McInnes, he is a player we need.

McIness is on another level of commitment.

If you were in a trench in ww1, he’s the only player in the nrl you’d want next to you.

No doubt Madge is just checking on his welfare. They have a long term friendship.

We were the first team to call him up after his tap on the shoulder, the day after his losing grand final.

He won’t enjoy be phased out at the Panthers although they are losing players faster than people lose their hard earned at the Casino.

Looks like the 3/4’s will b a strength of ours in ‘21.I’m most concerned about 7 & 1.The 7 is shithouse & clearly can’t cut it as a game manager plus huge uncertainty about who we have in our roster who is capable of doing a competent job for us at 1.

Hopefully Corey Allen is still outside of Hartigans office waiting to slip in during appointments.

Mansour should back himself and take the two years. If he goes well, he gets his third. A couple of years ago he would have been offered 4 years on 800 and club captain.

I’m reading Gebbies a fullback so the Laurie / Mansaur deal maybe not so urgent but then if Nofo leaves ? So maybe thats what Hartigan is mulling over ..I’m sure they will offer Nofo north of what JAC got and try to get that settled by Xmas ..oh shit it is Xmas ..
If all the cards fall into place including Brookes disappearing off the face of the earth WT might be so much improved we may not need a competent coach haha

Good to see Madge hustling...No friendships when your 10th unless it will help 10 become 6

Which is why I laughed when Lee threw his hat into the ring publicly about honouring contracts.

Our recruitment spooks have zero respect for other clubs.

We have a taste for other clubs captains

We are f**king ruthless.

Cameron McGuiness would be a great pickup those extra effort areas around the ruck in defence was probably our main achilles heel last year. Most of our points allowed came from this or the play after the break. Last year our attack wasn't that bad we were scoring like 24 points at least even against good teams but defence is the let down. We need to become the team that wins 24-20 not lose 30-24.

We scored 20 or more points in 12/20 games and won 6 of them. We also lost 3 low scoring games where we conceded less then 20 points and this was against Panthers, Raiders and Souffs. So this tells me it's more of an attitude/effort/fitness for 80 minutes more than a skill problem. If they can learn to treat the titans/warriors like they do the panthers then we win more than we lose.
