I like Maxwell, but his time has passed. The selectors and coaching staff took the easy way out and pigeon holed him as a limit overs specialist, rather than try and refine and develop his obvious talent for the longer form. He has now completely changed his technique based around T20 so he's a no go.

As a left field suggestion, Sam Whiteman has gone well since giving up the gloves. Averages 50+ in his last 10 knocks opening the batting.
