Pretty close contest in the end

Sams hits a 6 off that full toss off the first ball of the last over, Aussies likely win it easily

Well done kiwis 2-0 up

Not really fussed at this stage. Though a 5-0, or 4-1 kiwis series win will be deflating.

Bigger picture is we are missing at least 4 automatic selections , possibly 5 and it’s a good fact finding mission to see who steps up and wants to be in the World Cup

Problem is they're not using it as a fact finding mission with Finch and Maxwell in the side an under performing. Based on recent Domestic form Finch wouldn't get picked in my SMCA One Day B's side let alone the national side.

They've got a decent group of less experienced types (based on Domestic form) like Phillipe who's batting out of position, Meredith and McDermott not getting a run at all.

Thought you guys were more than 4 down?

Closer than it needed to be at our end, Jamieson hasn’t played much of this stuff and has been poor, missing Ferguson badly, he and Boult would have ended it, and we still haven’t sorted the openers, tbh Munro should still be there... Guppy might go on a tear now though... never been sold on Seifert, but a better keeper than Phillips

Expected them to go with Finch initially, meaning couple of guys batting out of position. Rather Philipe at 3, then not in the side. Considering Finch gets out early. And To be fair, you cant just throw in a bunch of new guys at once

Expecting the side to be shaken up a bit from now on (for the mercy of everyones sanity). ,,

The commentators still talking like Maxwell is an automatic selection until the end of time, and it would be a "big call" to drop Finch, because of his captaincy and "man management".

f**k I miss Richie & co
