Trading of McInnes for McCullogh is just garbage. Dragons fans should be spewing about this.

It's kind of old news now but Cam McInnes has ruptured his ACL and will be out for the year. Interestingly, Andrew McCullogh was apparently looking good from reports at the Broncos preseason. So much so that Kevin Walters wanted to keep McCullogh at the Broncos and start him at hooker.

McCullogh who opted in his last year at the Broncos. Received a better deal at the Dragons, and wanted a extension from the Broncos or grant him a release. Broncos decided to relent and grant McCullogh a release.

Ben Hunt will be appointed as Dragons captain. Which some will find questionable because of his form. I will say this though, Hunt at least looks like he's trying out there unlike other overpaid underperformers who just seem to be going through the motions.

Probably a good move for him. I can't see him getting much game time at the tigers this year.
Feel sorry for the guy, i liked what he did at the tigers, and that awful knock he got was gut wrenching to watch, i don't wish that on anybody, i hope he goes well where ever he ends up

Des Hasler in his last year of his contract. If Manly don't get there act together this year then it maybe his last. Manly and Hasler have been haggerring over an extension.

Hasler wants a three year contract extension. Manly want a contract with a year to year provision where Hasler can be let go at the clubs choosing. Manly and some clubs are weary after five coaches were let go last year with some of them on hefty payouts. And want to avoid making the same mistake.

Dessie doesn't realise we are in a new world of big bash NRL.
He is still playing his 2008 tactics with a slow and aging roster.....and a blind refusal to pick any youth.

In short, Manly need to move Des on, before we lose our talented future.

Indeed. Foran looked like a waste of space on Saturday. Schuster shou0ld be given a shot at five eight for the Sea Eagles.

From the outside it just seems like Dessie has been flat out refusing to bring in a decent hooker for years now. He's not throwing anything more than bargain basement rejects into the position. Fainu isn't worth waiting for in a playing or legal sense imo.

Dessie is Old School.

He will die for his players, and expects them to run through brick walls for him.
Thus, the same selections, of the same failed players.

Unfortunately for Des, and Manly, there are too many "contract players" at the club.....most notably the halfback....who have zero loyalty to coaches of yesteryear, and a chasm has opened up.
Jake has become one dimensional, and that's being generous.

Youth cannot get a crack, due to the Coaches stubbornness.

Roosters get a 17 year old prodigy allowed to bend the rules to play, and Josh Schuster is picking his nose in 2nd grade....waiting for the Roosters or Souths to pounce, whilst Des plays the loyalty card to old has-beens.
