So much for the vaunted test bowling attack.

Wonder when Neser will get a test.

And when did Starc last take a wicket?

Marnus showing his class.

As Bryce Street develops he'll need to learn to pick up the pace a little. Not saying go the tonk, but pick the gaps and find those one's and two's a bit better perhaps.

Still facing 200 balls against 3/4's of Australia's bowling attack isn't too bad.

Neser has to be ahead of Starc now for the national team. No way Starc can still be an automatic selection.

With our selectors though, who knows. They love copy/paste

Starc has been basically bowling 150km/h straight balls and that's nice when the seam is hard and it's nipping around but later in the innings he's actually offering nothing until the tail walk to the crease

I'm not defending Starc at the test level but he still gets picked for NSW at this point as does everyone else this game.

Our depleted inexperienced batting let us down, considering we crumbled for 36 a couple of weeks ago it was gunna be a problem

Daniel Solway was disappointing this Shield season, no doubt dropped for Jack Edwards after his one day ton in the final

Henriques was a huge loss in the top 4 batting line up. Our batting has been average to terrible

NSW only had two players in the top 25 run scorers

7th Henriques 633 runs at 70.33
11th Abbott 548 at 68.50
26th Patterson 349 runs at 21.81

Starc has had a disappointing summer all round. His dads illness and then death no doubt taking its toll. Wouldnt have begrudged the bloke for taking time off after the test series, or even during the test series

With the poms out here next summer, would love Starc to take some time off, reset, and smash them like Notch did. However we need decks to be bouncy a bit, and of course Starc to be in beast mode

Nsw has been the second best team this season. A bit like last year’s State of Origin.

Maybe picking a team of bowlers and keepers wasn’t a great idea either, I mean what does old man Copeland offer these days???? Surely the young bloke who got 60 on debut the week before deserved another game???

Phil Jacques is Ricky Stuart and Bea Arthur's love child.
