You and I both know that if McFester so much as even thinks about Madge’s job, he’s bound to land it, get a pay rise and 8 years.

That’s just how this miserable life works.

Then we can just get lu admin to move the sack Mary thread to Tigers lu.

No one will know the difference!

I must say that the maestro looks quite impressive in the Tigers kit . But to be honest there is a chance that Tim Sheens may be the man .

In any case young Hastings will be a good signing for the Tigers and vastly more experienced than when he left the NRL , may surprise quite a few actually .

Hastings won’t be enough to turn that Club around.
TBH the Tigers mess was mostly a result of Cleary roster, revolving door of coaches, a decade of allowing 3-4 players acting like defacto CEO’s and a split board with an identity crisis trying to play at multiple grounds. Remind you of any other team ....

The ex-NSW centre declared last year he was still at the beginning of his coaching journey when he resigned from the Dragons during his seventh season after immense pressure on his position.

7 1/2 years and he learnt nothing that’s for sure.
Too bad we were his guinea pig.
Worst period in the club's history.
He was unqualified to coach reserve grade let alone the St. George first grade squad.

I did not suggest that he would turn the club around , but merely said that he would be a good signing for them at this point , perhaps even to give their fans some hope for the future.

And yes Clearly certainly left a mess behind when he walked out on the them , but that is their mess , not ours , we have our own problems to sort through to make our team a more formidable side .

“ So one of you whiners almost threw his dinner up after reading of this prestigious honor bestowed upon me after a lifetime of dedication to the game and in particular to the Dragons . “

“ Judging by the way the team has been playing of late , it may be most beneficial if you all got together and put a few bob in each , to pay for that mug Griffo to come - who knows , he may learn something ? “

“ By the way , ‘Slayer old boy , the next time you eat your own cooking - make sure you cook the bluudy meat first ! “

Well there’s no way anyone would be stupid enough to pay for coaching tips from that buffoon. Of course it’s free.
It has to be aspiring under 6's and under 7's coaches does it not
But see..he did have unfinished business in coaching
He probably rang them and put his hand up for the job..How could they be rude to an Illawarra legend.

I wish him well, as Hook has shown coaching us is no easy task.
