Good banter, shit performance. Made a really poor error and left Tracey posted on their sweep plays.

He looked completely lost on defence , gonna have to up his game real fast , not sure if just a lack of game time or over the hill , seems well off the pace . Maybe give him another chance before drawing the bow on him .

At least he had a go. Looks unfit, old and lost but what do we expect for a guy pulled out of “retirement” he is there to help the attitude and effort of those around him.
I’d still prefer him over Dugan & Teig.
Prefer to play JT or now we can call in Ferris just not sure if it’s their time just yet with the attitude of those around them.

There's no point having a player on the park to help the attitude and effort of others when you're playing just as bad if not worse than them imo.

Seems like a desperation buy in the forlorn hope he'll somehow turn back the clock.

And giving it large when you're getting walloped on the scoreboard is just cringey.

Frenzy.

That's what happens to players when they are trying to cover the shit defence in and outside of them. Trying to cover the out of position players in and outside of him.

Why do people only judge an individual and not consider the shit going on around him. Sludge or ET wouldn't even look good in amongst this riff raff.

Sharks fans really do have an unrealistic view of footy with this one man must do all belief.

It's amusing.

Who here feels like we play an NYC style game.

Play around the opposition and sideways rather than earning the right by playing tough and straight??

Mate , not putting it all on him , there was plenty who are match fit and toughened who were poor and have been before he arrived . But on 2 of Stains tries he turned in when no need to , ended up next to his inside defender , and left Connor high and dry facing Crieghton and Stains . He just looks a bit lost to me , but at least he has a feasible excuse for now and happy to give some more time . Connor played turnstile on Crieghtons try , no excuse , but certainly not putting it all on one man , and this his thread.

BTW, at this time in the Sharks chronology it is totally futile to blame any back when the forwards have simply given up. Footy 101, forwards lay the platform. Ours couldn't lay an egg if it was shoved up their arses
Was talking about this with a m8 earlier today, we need a couple of big fit dynamic front rowers - no more honest toilers. Graham and nikora are giving us the grand total of nothing at the moment as well.

The fitz has got a big job ahead of him.

Shut down the predictable sweep play as well and points are non existent. Maloney was the last half we had that took the ball to the defensive line and gave us options, now we just swing it wide and get smashed over the touchline.

Holbrook hit the nail on the head last week.
Up 22 nil and lost to the broncos.
He said he felt like he was back coaching under 20s.

Weak-hearted, big-headed, social-media-addicted footballers today....they love running with the ball. But when the tume comes to roll up the sleeves. Dig in. Defend.
No interest.
Unless bellamys your coach.
Or robbo.

Maguire is banging his head against the wall trying to toughen up souless heartless professionals on 6 figures to rip in.
Its what sets the top 5 from the rest of us. Look at the morris twins. That is what we need..compete on every play. Attack and defence.

Its like kids footy. They just want the ball.
