Could barely field a competitive team during Origin without the actual key players who improve the ones around them.

That shows the gulf between NRL and NSW Cup. The Panthers have only lost one game in NSW Cup this year. But the oldest player in the club is only 29.

With the logic that's being used it's the Storm's fault that the Broncos, Titans, Tigers, Dragons and Bulldogs are shit because the Storm have signed the cream of the development players from these clubs catchment areas.
Usually expansion clubs struggle for many years before getting success (look at the Gold coast for instance), but it's insane how the Storm have been able to succeed and have revolutionised many aspects of the game all without any grassroots in the state.
