Apart from Kit's less than enthusiastic appraisal of Moga, I'm a little concerned that we are targetting the wrong position for depth. IMO, we have only one specialist winger- Ravalawa who is challenged to stay on the park. Ramsey played his junior football at full-back and would probably still prefer to play there and the Feagais, for mine, lack top end pace and are better suited to the centres. Against the Roosters, one of the twins (not sure which one) was nearly run down by Sam Walker when he had clean air but his strength got him over the line.
Sam Walker is no snail

True- but still a half back. Ravalawa (when on the field) is a force of nature but no speedster- if we have little speed on the other wing as well, it may undo all the good work that's been done inside them.
See your point but the game these days for Wingers is all about Taking the ball up strongly from kicks and bullocking their way over the try line from set pieces. Ken Irvine's & Kerry Boustead wouldn't get a look in now days , which is a pity.

BTW, Wikipedia has Aaron Woods playing for us in 2022. Wikipedia have been right with the signings of Burns for last season and Suli having them at the club before being officially announced on the Dragons website.

Also, Tautau Moga shown in Wikipedia that he will be at the Dragons before official confirmation.

He played one game for Souths this year (against us) when Bennett rested most of the team - he still could only manage a bench spot and also managed to get himself put on report.
The guy is a huge liability, as I said, 4 knee reconstructions and has only managed to play one entire season out of 9 back in 2017. His defence is woeful ( tackle efficiency hovers around 85% ). I don't know where you see any potential with the guy, I'm finding it hard to think of a worse signing, even Beale is better than Moga, I'd take Lafai back ahead of this guy.
Dragons are fkd, fair dinkum, which shit for brains thought this was a good idea.

I reckon any competition for Suli to keep him on his toes is worthwhile...

rw4ever,
i think they are playing 'all" their games out of suncorp ... ( you know corporate $ / tv / etc )
Brisbane has one of the largest Dragon fan bases in the Country
When the Drags play the Broncs up here , its embarrassing to the Broncos hierachy that the crowd which averages around 35 000 is at least 50 50 or in the Dragons favour
What the two heads dont get , is that so many southerners have migrated North over the years into the Sunshine State , that the following of say Bunnies , Eels , now Penrith and Us is enormous ..Suncorp is no longer the graveyard that it once was ..Sides lift when playing here , esp with fan support .
The Dolphins will take away a huge chunk of support from the Broncs , who are presently floundering on and off the paddock......

This is why I hope Ramsey puts on few kg’s. He started his career in blistering fashion outside Lomax but barely got a chance outside Bird. Sure the season wore him down a bit and he dropped a few but I’m sure Sloan will too by seasons end. I still feel with a good off season outside Suli we could really use that extra speed.

Is it me or is this club incompetent when it comes to signing announcements

it’s all throughout the media that we have signed Woods, Moga and Gosiewski but not a peep from the club

but other clubs like the doggies announce it like a day after it gets put into the media

Would you tell the world that we have signed those players? I'd keep it under my hat and hope no one notices.😁

They probably just wait until it’s fully finalised I suppose. Hard not to be pessimistic I guess.

Brian To'o is one of the most valuable wingers playing yet is relatively short and not quick... powers over 200 metres every game though and takes 1 hit-up per set without fail..game has changed and so have the body types required. Moga if fit adds value to the squad

I concede that SOME wingers have a metre eating role in the modern game-To'o being the best at that. But the the second sentence of your statement is just not supported by the facts. The four top try scoring wingers for 2021 -Alex Johnston, Reuben Garrick, Jason Saab and Josh Addo Carr are all flyers- not bullockers.
