. I was going to basically write the same. If anyone wants to pay him that much he will leave. If not we get him for less.
If stays awesome. If he leaves then we recruit someone else. You need a team to win a premiership not one player.
There could be some young gun in the comp somewhere lurking in the lower grades ready to explode onto the 1st grade scene.
Eg Ethan Strange from Raiders last yr I thought was terrific..

Hypothetical = If Dylan signs elsewhere by rnd 4 would you let him go? If a player swap is on the cards I'd consider it. Or if we are offered a payout as we have paid him since Nov 1.

Would depend on who the player swap is.
Would have to be a young gun or a rep player..in the halves or fullback

We've had our top 4 or 5 players in previous years do exactly the same..
Guth, RCG, Junior, Moses. Effectively say they love the club but need to look after themselves and their family.
At the end of the day these blokes are in the game for a short period of time and even lesser where they can earn maximum $.
I'm not gonna get upset if he leaves but definitely abuse him

if/when he plays against us. At the moment he's an Eel

Remember what Moses defense looked like before he physically was stronger and come to a tougher side?
It's ridiculous to think his defense won't improve. He is 19nand physically not developed

Why would the Tigers even consider a swap. They have a very talented player at a fraction of Brown's pay. Makes no sense. But then again, Tigers do what Tigers do

I don't disagree but Moses would attempt. There were times Blaize made little to no effort. I think the incoming coaching crew wanted him to play fullback seeing and knowing this.
Blaize wanted 5/8.
All power to the kid but I think the hype was a bit OTT.
Did some special things in attack but I'm not upset he left. Won't be if Dylbro goes as well.
Ryles and Co seem to be driving club first mantra...that's where it needs to be

Blaize was raced into first grade due to incompetence in roster management. he should have spent a season in Cup getting use to playing with men.

Hayne is the best player I’ve ever seen in terms of talent. I’ve never seen anything like it. Such a pity I don’t think he was as good as he could have been. Incredible talent.
