NRL Rare Feats

[T-Boon]

Focusing on individual feats rather than team and in single games and actual positive feats there has been a few good suggestions:

300 RMs;
3 charge down games (3CDs);
5 hold up games (5HUs).
10 off loads (10offs);
In the old days you could have 5 scrum wins against the feed (5AFs).

I'll think of better names in due course because the above are lame I admit.

Looking back on my own work...10 offloads hahaha. FFS. Has anyone ever had near that?

As a serious suggestions I would say a 300 running metres game would be pretty rare (maybe 1-2 times a year)

I think there’s been a couple this year already - CNK cracked the 300 mark in round 3.

I think Ali Lauitiiti may have done it in 2002. He was untouchable that year.

Other Adam Blair stats I remember are one loss to Fiji in a World Cup quarter final as captain, one wad of gum being chewed in the press conference, and no f**ks given.

I think there’s been a couple this year already - CNK cracked the 300 mark in round 3.

I remember Steve Price peeling a couple at least off around the 2007 season or so.

ChatGPT says the all-time NRL record is Joey Manu's 370m last year, beating Gutherson by 1m.

It also says the record for most missed tackles is Choc Watmough in the 07 GF, with 15. That doesn't count though, because Melbourne cheated.

Just saw this pic today and made me think of this thread - seems cracking 300m multiple times in consecutive seasons could be the true rare feat for run metres!

As much flack as CNK gets for not being a flashy speedy player, he sure puts his hand up to get around that field!

I've got his match-worn jersey from his debut game at Souths. The fact he holds that record adds a little more value to it I guess.

35 without missing. He missed one at Manly to end the record in a 48-0 rout of Manly at Brookvale.
