Well we have to make the 8 somewhere to be able to do that and now after the Roosters and Sharks won we're outside the 8 on the live ladder so can't afford to be dropping games, especially not because of resting players. I'm not saying we can't beat Parra with some players out but you know what Parra are like, they always seem to save some of the best footy for playing us.

e can still get top 4 but if we play injured players and get there then the injured players may be no good to us .Its a fine line we have great medical and training staff I back there decision on if a play can play or not play

I'd be lying if I didn't say daine laurie at fullback doesn't scare me against parra.Rocks and diamonds that bloke.We looked good things with all our origin players except Martin's injury.But no martin sorenson t'oo Edwards and who knows if cleary or yeo play.Its a 50/50 now.

He was great against the Warriors. He doesn't have a contract anywhere for 2026 either. That is one good reason to start playing good football.

Penrith need to play Cleary and Yeo, even against Parra I don’t think they can win with that hack Schneider in the 7. Worst of all though, they will still carry him even if Cleary plays.
Hopefully Cole retains the 14.

Like guys with niggles get better. No more injuries.. no mkre dumb suspensions and to continue the gradual improvement..

I think after the bye and a few wins we will get a good understanding of where we are at by 6pm today..

If we want to give the comp a shake this year we need to win well even with some big names out.

If Cleary's out. Go to the nearest bar. Get anyone from the bar line, they will do a better job. He can't even defend anymore, that was the one benefit he had

We look a little short in the backrow. Garner doesn't handle 80 well.

We’re fine without To’o, Martin and Sorro for this stretch. Rotate Edwards, Cleary and Yeo through, lock up 5/6 and then mass rest again for Drags.

Manage this stretch well and we should have an also ran week one and then at least one match against the very raw, inexperienced Dogs/Wahs/Raiders group it’s an achievable task for a side like ours.

I think Yeo and Nathan play, Eiso to the bench and Mav out, but admittedly I just guess and am usually wrong.
